Bomber_County replied to KevinM's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
The kit will be a dream, I have a WIP on their Pz IV H, it’s a delight to build…….their instructions are well thought out, I decided to do some stuff out of sequence and paid the price. Enjoy would well recommend RFM……and at the paint stage and still have a mountain of parts for the spares box…… -

Share how COVID-19 Quarantine has affected you.

So tomorrow is the last day of the furlough scheme. So with no work having been secured it looks very very bleak for me. Perhaps early retirement may just be the ticket……. -

Thanks Smitty, living not far from BBMF, a Spitfire and a new Typhoon were going home the other afternoon. The Typhoon was at 45 degrees trying to fly slow enough for the Spitfire……..

The cockpit looks great Kevin….. Excellent choice Rob plus all the goodies, I must admit 48th is a good scale for these twins….

SH Tempest Mk.II HIgh Tech Kit
Bomber_County replied to Peterpools's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Peter, mine was a complete PITA to and mine was the MK V …….I boxed mine up twice…….I reverted into taking a Dremel to the cockpit assembly to fit the wings………the wells are rubbish, there are some images online showing the correct way they should be fitted……..what about the Tamiya P38 Lighting apparently it’s beautiful to build……. -
Nice start Mark, storming along…….going to follow this one with interest……..
-
Gaz, you’re an absolute star for finding these, thanks you so much…
-
One thing I just found out, ICM started in 1994………never knew………they were in my dark years……
-
Thanks Kai much appreciated, it’s a fun build because you can sub assembly everything…..
-
When I did some research, you’re right in they should be 81’s. The only ones I could find were the Eduard and they were a little pricey and also resin…..
-
Thanks Rob, I am really impressed with ICM, give them a go. I looked at the Eduard resin but resources a little stretched at the moment….I do fancy in doing one of their HE 111……..
