  1. Actually, what you did was akin to ordering the Ho 229 from Zoukei-Mura's own website direct along with all the bells and whistles they offer, rather than go to your local hobby shop and hope they had the options available in-store. The Tahoe has been available since 1995; Chevy made nothing new in the photo above. Now, if you had called Chevy and asked them to design you an ALL-NEW vehicle designed from the ground up based on what you wanted to see in a new product then you'd have a comparison.
  2. There's actually noone to call to get the ball rolling. They make the kits they want to make without our input. Do you call Ford and ask them to make a certain car for you?
  3. This is Dragon #6700, Mid production with molded zimmerit. Roughly $54 - $60 from South Asia on ebay. It is actually OOP from Dragon although I believe there is a replacement out or coming. The tracks are DS, but as mentioned they are beyond the Tamiya bands. Of course, there is aftermarket or buying a set of Magic Tracks off eBay. There is some PE for things such as vent screens and some bits of wire. Markings for a ton of vehicles, primarily Eastern European theaters but of course these are good anywhere Mids were shipped if you aren't worried about unit markings. I have two of these, and would buy more as they are like Mustangs, 109s, and Spits. IRT 1to1scale: I just built a set of workable links for Meng's Panther A Late. Five part: main link, 2 teeth, 2 metal pins. Those pins are stupid tiny and I use my fingernails to hold them like an idiot instead of using a tool. But, leave me alone with headphones on and boom! I'm done in 7 hours. Of course, my weekend is now shot to hell, but whatever.
  4. I am already in the middle of 10 builds and can't take on more until April.
  5. I just spoon a little of the dissolved putty into a small hole or open seam, wait until it hardens and repeat until the cavity is seemingly full, and then sand away what sticks up. However, I have only used it to fill small openings as I find it harder to use over larger areas. Perfect Plastic Putty I kund of gave up on as it dries up fast in the tube. Apparently a flaw in the bottle design allows some air leakage but why they haven't fixed it I don't know. But now, I just sand everything down level to the bottom of the cavity and skip using putty.
  6. The One Shot primer is Badger's Stynylrez with Mig's label on it. It is good stuff and the only primer I have been using for the last year and a half.
  7. If it is a new style box it is the Dragon rebox, not the old tooling. Sorry about the price for some of you guys; it is about $60 US here.
  8. I don't know that I ever looked that great naked to begin with... As far as the second song, I am popular with people because I help them save by giving them a fuck off every chance I get.
  9. I'm not even a full hour into the last day of 2019 here. I have to go to sleep and finish the 30th before I can have New Year's Eve.
  10. I kinda sorta finished these tonight. They are OOB, and I didn't spend much time weathering them as I don't know if I want to give them context yet or not...Not as pretty as the previous posted work, but they actually got built and that is the goal here.
  11. Yeah, the chopper is nice. In the first pic, the perspective with the venue walls in the background made it remind me of a similar display in one of the buildings at Pensacola NAS. The info sheet stuck under the gear and the figures standing on the lefthand side were the only things keeping me from believing it could have been a photo of a heli in a museum hangar. Lil' Photoshop take care of that...
  12. The Russians have been having lots of good luck with their military hardware lately. Not sure why the Left in America are so scared of them. China is the threat.
  13. I have a Squadron/Signal Walk Around for the EA-6B Prowler I can donate. Also have a set of 1/32 markings for F-16C Golden State Griffins by Twobobs Aviation Graphics (32-033) suitable for the Hasegawa, Academy, or Tamiya F-16C kit. Specific markings for 2 planes, S/N 84-1318 and 85-1404.
  14. Building Meng's Panther Ausf A Late right now and I am liking it as much as the Dragons I've built. I got the workable tracks super cheap but they are about the same as the indy links except they pin together instead of glue. As a plus it includes the plug for the hull MG and antenna for the Befehlswagen version in the box, whereas Dragon likes to sell the Befehls as their own kit rather than as an option.
  15. Well, I worked as a manager for a book and other media store so organization is key. What if I told you my armor was arranged by panzer type and order of production?
  16. Apparently I work best when I just dump a lot of stuff on my table. Building is the only way to clean up.
  17. Apparently not. And thanks. BTW I have the Revell Fw 190 F-8, the Bandai Y-Wing, and the Trumpeter Me 262 A-1a sitting next to me waiting to get started. And I have been eying my Do 335 more often lately.
