V2-Escape from hell ( Девятаев ) NEW MOVIE !!!
GusMac replied to Martinnfb's topic in General Discussion
Ah, that makes sense. I listened to the Till Lindemann track the other day and wondered why he was singing in Russian but this puts it in context. Looks an interesting film. -
Lovely job getting those all to line up.

Congratulations Mark, great news.

Hope you've got plenty of empty space to display these Martin, they'll take up some serious real estate!

Dale Cleary (Sir Desmond Glazebrook) passed away.
GusMac replied to MARU 5137's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for passing that on Maru. RIP Dale, a very talented drummer and, as others have said, a wonderful human who LIVED his life! -
Personally don't mind female vocals if in the right register. Often listen to Girlschool, Lacuna Coil or Skunk Anansie. The last mentioned are worth checking out as their lead singer, Skin, has an amazing vocal range. They were championed a lot by Lemmy of Motorhead quite a few years ago and they (Motorhead) were often supported by female fronted bands such as Skew Siskin and Girlschool among others. I do know what you mean about the Mariah Carey's and such of the world. Just hit the bloody note, you don't need to warble all around the damn thing....

Occasionally I'll listen to some classical - Mussorgsky, Katchaturian, Tchaikovsky, etc (hmm, why I haven't I built more Russian stuff??), but generally it's punk, metal and hard rock most of the time. It needs to be loud to be heard over the compressor is my excuse!

Don't worry Gaz, I did exactly the same on my AMX-13. Only when I posted the pics on here did I notice it. -

Look great and a very quick turnaround! -
I've also used dawngrocerystore many times and never had any issues. Good prices for Trumpy and HB kits and shipping times have always been reasonable.

Even made the BBC news over here. Very neat ditching and lucky the beach was quite quiet.

Can't believe some of that work. For a start, how do you hold a part that small in tweezers without launching it into the wild blue yonder?....

Not sure we Brits are on the strongest ground slagging anyone else off for our WWII tank designs. We came up with a few clunkers of our own and were a bit bailed out by the M4, although we did have the sense to put a decent gun in it!

Keeping it local Kev? Looks great so far. -
Share how COVID-19 Quarantine has affected you.
GusMac replied to 1to1scale's topic in General Discussion
Not a good situation. Risk is very low for the clots but the J&J vaccine, which is similar technology, also seems to perhaps have the same issue if the news from the US is correct. Bit worrying. Stay safe. -
Great beaten-up look to this.

The AK Extreme Metals are brilliant to work with and very robust once done. No problems with masking etc -

I can think of a few of my builds that would benefit from a close encounter with that! -
Looks great. Unfortunately in better condition than the original at the moment. Hasn't had much luck recently and collided with a pier on one of it's first trips after a major refit.

That's a bummer with the fit of the tail part Kai but I'm sure you'll make it work. Just out of interest, how much weight did you add to the nose? I'm hoping the big resin nose for the Cheetah will help but I'd be keen to know how much is enough.- 719 replies

I suppose that counts as 'homework' of a sort Martin! One of ours ate a AIM-7 off my F-15C but that's all so far. -

I'm sure there's guys from our local gliding club who go up in smaller things than that! -

If these are 3D printed, might it be worth contacting the manufacturer as they may be able to rescale the files? -
You've a better memory than me Carl! It was the Sanxin ones I was thinking about. I remember now Googling them when Jeroen mentioned them - look nice but a fairly limited range. Ta.
