  1. Really looking the part now Tom.
  2. Sorry to hear that Harv. Hope they get you sorted out soon.
  3. Ooh, we're gettin' highbrow now. Latin an' all.... My school barely taught us English never mind Latin
  4. That's a real shame Peter. At least you have a workable plan and a new canopy on the way. Otherwise looking stunning.
  5. Stunning finish Kai after fighting the kit all the way. 👍
  6. Very neat Tom. These will look great once installed and with the props on.
  7. Looking good Carl. As Smitty says you can't beat good seamless intakes.
  8. Very nice build Marco. Great detail for the small size.
  9. Sounds like you've got it all planned out Rob. Only been to Gran Canaria of your islands and it was down in the very south (Puerto Rico) in July, so far too hot and humid for me. 🥵
  10. Very impressive woodworking skills there Rob. At least you've got weather to enjoy them in. Softwood gets destroyed in about a season here
  11. Great picture Martin. Was never aware of that little detail before.
  12. Looking good Ernie. Definitely some variation to be seen in there, especially on the control surfaces. Never had the courage to try a USN Pacific scheme given how faded they get but must try one sometime. The Trumpeter Dauntless seems to be one of their A team jobs and can be picked up reasonably cheaply, so might be a candidate.
  13. Very nice Tom. Do love that scheme, the logo on the fin always reminds me of the Tiger that Came for Tea.
  14. Have a good one. 🎂
  15. Very neat work with the decals on the missiles Peter. So easy to screw it up when they are so small.
  16. Beautiful faded paint work and stunning photos.
  17. You'll enjoy the conversion Carl. The quality of the fit of the Scaleworx parts is better than the fit of the kit parts.
  18. That was the same figure I saw Phil. If true it makes it an absolute steal.
  19. Looking stunning Peter. Very colourful - the USN didn't do subtle back then did they!
  20. 6.5 inches is still a lot of rain! 😲 That's about 3 months worth for us and Scotland isn't the driest place in the world! Although I do live in the driest part of it.
  21. Great picture Kai. Progress has been slow on the Cheetah due to holidays and my father being taken into hospital. I'll post once I have anything worth showing
  22. Nice win Gaz and lots of nice kits. Seen some nice builds of the E boat. Some nice dioramas too if you want to really push the skillset.....
  23. Glad to hear your safe Peter. Seems to have hit Tennessee and other areas pretty hard.
  24. Lovely finish Kai. I think the matte coat looks just right. I know everyone has different tastes and opinions but personally I prefer a flatter finish on jets like this unless there's clear evidence to the contrary.
