  1. Hi Jeff C, Looking forward to more of this build of yours!
  2. Hi everybody, These images just hit the net, released by Zoukei-Mura. I'm guessing I'll be able to hold my version at Telford Enjoy!
  3. Thnx George! And here's the GI that will be on the gondola. Paintbrushing some white texting on the fuse of the Reichenberg. Painting of figure is halfway done. It's a figure by Warriors
  4. Really cool... Like it a lot. The thing on it's belly is the speedometer. Like a pitot tube. Cheers, Jeroen
  5. Some progress on the flatbed. I used the brand new Uschi wood decals. Specially designed for flatbed train wagons. You can't imitate the detail with oils or other paint techniques. Some oil washes should blend it some more, followed by a satin coat.
  6. I've seen it. But only on HLJ.
  7. Thnx for the support guys! Just waiting for the AM to land and I'm off!
  8. Hahahaha! just caught up with this! Too friggin funny! Ok Erik. We'll have to set some ground rules for when you come over...
  9. Hi Paul. I first wet the area that i want to chip and let the water do it's work. The brush therefor doesn't need to be soaking wet. Cheers, Jeroen
  10. Great to see you tackle that gap! Persistence is a virtue! Very nice...
  11. Hi Ralph, I've used the AK brand chipping medium, but somehow i keep going back to cheap hairspray. Just works better for me... Here's what I did to the RLM 83 wings. Sprayed Alclad. Let it dry for a day. Hairspray sprayed directly in my airbrush cup. Then from the cup through the airbrush onto the model. Let it dry for 5 minutes. Then Mr Hobby RLM 83 in thin layer. Let it dry for 10 minutes. Et voila!
  12. I know!! I never would have dreamed I'd have a He219, Reichenberg, Do335 and soon Ho229 on my bench!
  13. With the Do-335 cleared out of the way I think it's time to finally tackle one of my all time favorite subjects. The He-219... I could have bought the ZM one but I chose not to. Why? Because the kit is over engineered which causes a lot of AM companies to ignore it. Thinking it doesn't need anything. Revell's He-219 is cheap and basic. Yeah yeah, i know about the engine shape and canopy and I don't care. CMK, ProfiModeller, Eduard, HGW, and more companies have released juicy upgrades. This enables me to indulge in my favorite activity.... AM-hunting!! Waiting for some shipments now and when they arrive, I'm taming the Owl! Watch this space... Cheers, Jeroen
