I love these wood finished projects! I've seen Alex's 1/72 Horten at Heiden this year. Lovely little project..

I can't believe it! I've followed this build from start to... finish! I've seen it up close at Telford and was amazed by the sheer size. It's just beautiful...

Micro Sol and Set are still the best thing in town. That.. and a lot of patience. I'm decalling my Ninak now. I'm taking the whole evening for just the rudder, but the result is worth it. It takes up to an hour for the decal to wrinkle to the max. Then another hour for it to set. Patience. That's it. Humbrol and all other brands I have don't give the same results. No hairdryer or Q-tips. You might ruin the decal. Well.. this is just my experience.

Lucky you... So... no more excuses to not finish the 38!! (except for the war movies that is.. )

Thnx guys! Well.. here's some more tedious work. Snipped of the plastic WnW fins and replaced them with the HGW PE. Gotta be careful not to drop them...

Hi Erik, I believe to recall these Shermans did not carry a lot of stowage. I'm a little bit out of the armour modelling, but still enjoy looking at a delicately weathered piece of armour though. One day I might just try my hand at 1/35 again. So. You're (planning on) building a Sherman?

First coat of paint on ze wings. Got some 1,5mm tape at the Airbrush store today, so next up: masking the ribs.

Wow! Did you make those Mig21's?? 1/144?

Hi Jeroen, I used three greys. All mr Hobby. A bit darker towards the edges. But mostly medium grey satin. Hi Doogs, I added a lot of water to the AK. It's way too thick not to. I believe 2/3 water 1/3 AK. Nice stuff. I'll look out for your... Latex! Cheers, Jeroen

There's room for two in my Ninak!

Hi James, Great review and pics. I have the older version of the Ninak seatbelts and had to cut them out myself. Also these feature holes instead of black dots. Looks like a great product. Cheers! Jeroen

Wow Jeroen... amazing progress and weathering. Again... One question: how do you mask the undersides to obtain the green edge along the wing's edges?
