I don’t think you need a wash for the panellines Kevin.

I will play it out on the bottom first Kai I did it on the P-47 and some P-51's makes it pop some but then again those are props and get dirty some.;)

I like the look your F-86 has, albeit it's hard to tell with the harsh sunlight. I like Tamiya panel liner for enhancing - panels :D-, but the residues can be hard to remove sometimes and I would be especially cautious on NMF.

Some motivational pics, I took in Chino CA. some years ago.

Cheers Rob

Okay She is finally starting to look like an F-86 :hsmack:This build has just about been a PIA as far as repainting goes though.I started applying the yellow band decals did the fuse first was on to the one wing when I noticed the fuse band was to far back arrgh!!So I pulled up the wing not dry yet but the fuse............will out came the tape and in the process broke off the Tailplanes :brickwall:OK not one cuss word I promise but their was some breathing happening in the long run made doing the decals around the tail easier without them there.I guess you have figured by now the bands are painted paint one paint all actually looks better but when does it not!The instructions from Kinectic have a bit to be desired on decals so anyone who builds this pay close attention the the fuse band it about touches the wing root. and notice the design of the bottom decal says alot.I think she will look OK when finished trust me I am ready for that word "Finished" and move on to the GB.Pics...........two with flash two w/o.

Kev

Awesome progress on your Sabre - she is looking mighty good.

Model photography isn't easy and I would go with the two images taken with flash, as the one without the flash, the bright light is a killer. Best bet is to try and either diffuse the light so you won't have the hard glare reflecting of the model. A piece of white linen oftenr does the trick.

Keep 'em comin

Looking great! I'm a big fan of the '86. There is a f86 that flies often out the

Waukegan airport and participates in Waukegan's annual air show. I'm fortunate

to see this aircraft flying low over Beach Park where my mother lives close to

this airport. It's an awesome sight!
