JohnB
This time a "C" with a tailhook and in the red/white scheme. The kit is on the way to me from HLJ and I should have it Monday. In the meantime I got a Aires cockpit set from SB and have been working on getting it ready for the model. I plan to finish the model just about like the ones in the photos although I will delete the civilian "N" number and do it as a USN a/c. Stay tuned. 4

Peterpools
John Kind of reminds me of the colorful schemes Army and Navy aircraft wore between the wars. Keep 'em comin Peter

It takes a good deal of trimming but with patience an persistence it can be made to fit. That consists mostly of removing most of the molding block, etc.

Mark I've had problems with some of their parts, especially wheel wells, so I'm a bit hesitant to use their stuff. I was pleasantly surprised the cockpit tub fit well after cleanup. (This is the 2nd time I've used one of theirs on a T-28 so I knew ahead of time it could be made to fit.)
