Fantastic work Ron. What are you using to make everything from? Is it all just sheet styrene?

Hey Carl

Yes, mostly, I  use evergreen sheet, tubes and shapes some plastruct and any left over stuff from my parts bin that I can make work. I also use Meng nuts & bolts, detail masters wires & stuff what ever I can make work for the situation at hand.

20230705_171433.jpgThis view shows the front roof support brace and the firewall. I think I got the Elfenbein a little to yellow, I'll fix it when I weather the interior.

Hey all

Small update for you to look at. I got the Elfenbein painted on the rest of the inner hull.

20230707_195946.jpgThis view shows the drivers and radio operators positions. You can see the 4 machine gun ammo boxes, these need to be painted. There's a bunch of gertsaks that go here also.

20230707_200012.jpgThis view shows the redesigned and scratch built shifter, forward/reverse lever and the redone instrument panel. I added the 2 switches, gauges and fuses. I still have to add the ignition switch and light. I'll get them painted tomorrow. That's it for now.

Hey all

 Some updates on the Tiger.

20230714_170041.jpgThis view shows the two hull ammunition bin doors. The tan ones are 1/35 and the white ones are my scratch built 1/16 scale ones.

20230714_170336.jpgThis view shows them in place on the radio operators side.

20230714_170442.jpgThis view shows the drivers side ones. Still need to paint these. Next is the lower ammo bins, then the hull interior will be done.

Hey all

Another small update for you to look at. I did some more work on the turret.

20230803_174254.jpgThis view shows the 0.08" (2.032mm) thick plastic card that I added to the turret wall to bring it up to the correct thickness (80.0mm). Also I added some plastic card to the turret ring to get it to the finished size.

20230803_174352.jpgThis view shows what you will be able to see through the hatches, not much.:(

20230803_174552.jpgA view of the turret on the hull. Getting the turret floor the correct height is being a real pain in the derriere!!! Oh well, the fun of scratch building...lol
