Had to get a companion for the F-80C shooting Star plus I won a bid on eBay for $15.95 sealed box!! Only one bidding!

Arno says I'm a kit thief, lol!!

Got a surprise it the mail. Revel sent me replacement clear parts for my now completed Ju88C-6 for free!! I had ordered and offered to pay but the invoice said zero. Now I have complete Ju88A kit with an optional C canopy and complete external bomb racks. Looks like a possible future Ju88 build, lol.

It was on the shelf in my local model shop.....It pulled me in with it's tractor beam.

Resistance was futile...

Paid full price, a penny short of £100. I couldn't help it, it was just there......

Well done Chris. You guys buy them all up so there's none left for me.

Have always had a pleasant and successful experience when dealing with Revell customer service. A lot of companies could use a lesson or two from them.

Arrived day before we headed to Adirondacks (upstate New York to you non-colonists) for a totally unplugged vacation.  One of several books I packed in my backpack.  I poured through this almost every morning and the wear shows.

An interesting historical read with plenty of great profiles.

I lightened my stash via eBay.  Kits I knew I would never build were shipped out.  Surprisingly the sale went very well to justify this HpH beauty, also arrived day before our Adirondack outing so I only have a few moments to take a peek.  Finally had some time early this week to drool over the parts and cross reference with instructions.  This is gonna be fun.

Original plan was to start this mid 2015 after my current WIP's and a Tamiya Uber Kit.  Ain't gonna happen.  I will kick this off late 2014 after my Ju88 Mistel 2.  What a beautiful kit.  I printed out instructions and may seem tricky.  After studying instructions often it seems the journey can be accomplished keeping "test fit, test fit, test fit" in mind.

James H, you were spot on regarding your review and much valued advice on this kit.  Puts every resin kit I have seen to complete shame.  The resin kit bar has been raised with this one.  I am actually hoping for a AM conversion for a 410B-2/U4 5cm BK cannon or Bomb Rack with ordinance assortment.

Considering Grey Matter's DB 603, firewall and mounts will have to be scratch built.  Seems doable though.

Belgian chocolate is gone!

Nice one Rick!

Maybe I should pull out the Catalina when you kick yours off?

for sure Dave.  would be epic, especially if JH gets his game on with his 410 as well.

Ralph, that's plain, all-out bragging. A big ol' MiG-15 would look superb in the cabinet.

;-)

Chris, you really must get back to those therapy sessions!

My LHS told me he's expecting one for his shelves. How shall I resist . . .??

DON'T need another 1/24th.

(No, really . .  )

Great pick ups guys

Rick: I doubt you'll be seeing any aftermarket for the 410, or any other HPH kits for that matter

Just no money in it with such a minuscule production run

:(

Love that 410 Rick. There is one in a museum not too far from me in the UK at Cosford. If you need any particular detail shots let me know, any excuse to walk round there and I'll take it! ;)
