I forgot to say this is the just the first round of kits. Wheels and Wings have decided to empty the whole storage locker and are bringing everything in as space permits.

The owner said they haven't gotten to the 1/200 ship kits yet but those are coming.

I’d love to pick up the Trumpeter Missouri at a deal.  Of course my Arizona is just collecting dust in the stash.

Scott, if I see one I'll let you know.

They're not posting the kits online as they're in such a varied condition but if they know the kit is there, they'll price it out for them.

Still dusty some but it's been three years I bet since I have dusted in that case. The rod that prop open all the canopies and the hatch are brass tube with guitar wire through the middle.;)

On another forum for judging for GB these six shots was mandatory for judging.

Got this today:

Ordered off Amazon, I got this kit for much less than most online

shops sell it for; Most sell it for  $60.00 or more. The Brothers Sprue

sell it for $67.00.  I got it for $41.99 plus tax and with no shipping.

Anyway, the kit is Tamiya's ; Finnish Army Assault Gun BT-42 (35318) in

1/35. I built the Tamiya BT-7 kit a while ago and it was a great build.

An odd, Finnish,  re-turreted version of a captured Soviet BT-7, the BT-42 was fitted with a WW I era British Howitzer ....the Finns adding

a perforated muzzle-brake to it.

Also today; more Friulmodel tracks. This time their  ATL-60, for the

Churchill Tank. Had them out of the box.....they look great!

Here is BT-42 walkaround as promised:

'Been waiting for this.......

From Gecko Models their big 1/16 scale Universal Carrier Mk. II (16GM0016). I'm thinking this will be a fun build..I'm not sure if I'll

be getting the optional engine kit for this yet .....We'll see. Anyway, Gecko

will be releasing a Mk. I version of the Carrier soon.

Paul, that looks like a nice kit.

Gecko is really putting out some nice kits.

Yes, just been going through the box..nice detail . the slide-molded styrene

springs look great as do the weapons ( Lee Enfields, Brens, Thompsons, and

Sten Mk IIs with slings). I saw that Gecko is releasing an earlier version of

the Panzer II with the rounded front armor...that one's on my list. I already

have one of the later examples.

I used Sunlight on mine. They came out smelling like fresh laundry.

Six hours later and I still have 5 more to go. Some of them still had a decent amount of muddy water in them. My kitchen smells like the basement in the Pripyat hospital.

Few days back, Carl called me about a big sell-off at his local hobby store.  The models suffered severe water damage, no boxes, decals, only plastic covered in a mucky grime.

Items today.

From Tamiya their B1 bis German Army  Panzerkampfwagen B2 740 (f)

(35287). In1/35. This is an out of production kit and hard to find. It offers

Decal options and parts not found in the other boxings. A different turret

cupola , concrete armor, tools, and etc are included. I've been looking for

this version for some time.

Next, a couple more "Egg Girls" from Hasegawa . These are both out of

production kits and in this country are only found at often inflated prices.

I found these two on Ebay from a Japanese seller for a very reasonable

price. I know, these things are not for everyone here, but I like them.

Next, a couple of items from the Brothers Sprue.

For my recently purchased Hasegawa ki 84, a set of decals from ASK.

The Hinamaru of the Hasegawa required overlapping a  white circle decal

with a red circle decal to get the white bordered hinamaru........stupid!

Anyway, the options on this decal sheet look cool.

I also bought some masks by Eduard for my Tamiya 1/32 A6M2 zero.

The Tamiya kit includes masks but they need to be cut out .

So can I ask what kits you got ? Or did I miss that somewhere?
