Phil, I used a Dremel to cut back the edges of the plastic fenders and then covered them in lead foil shaped to the original size of the fenders. I should have used brass because the lead foil is really too soft for this application but it didn't turn out too bad. 2
BlrwestSiR Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 Really nice looking Tiger there Mike. Can't wait to see it with some tracks on. Carl 3

Members Mikester Posted June 26, 2019 Author Members Posted June 26, 2019 Well, the model is done. Still have to do the diorama base and all that good stuff but it feels good to finally finish this one up. Could have been better and things I would like to go back and do all over again but overall fairly pleased with it. The tracks are "rubber band" tracks from AFV Club, nicely detailed but a little rough to get to look right. Once it's settled on a diorama base it should look better. 6 1
BlrwestSiR Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 A very nice looking Tiger Mike. Makes me want to work on my Dragon one. Carl 4
DocRob Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Your Tiger looks great, yeah the rubber tracks, I don't like them and replace wherever possible, the more the rubber, the more the mud in the dio . Cheers Rob 3
Wumm Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Looks every bit the part Mike... Very sharp, the way the weathering blends into the Camo work. 3
