Wingco57 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 But that's what makes modelling fun. Otherwise we would all be building Mustangs, Spits and Merseyschmitts 5

Jeff Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Not being checked out, on this one, resin or IM? kit 1
harv Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Resin. One of Paul Fishers fine creations.........Harv 3
Jeff Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Thanks, Harv, never stepped that deep..... not sure I have the smarts for a full on resin kit...... 1
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted September 12, 2018 Author Administrators Posted September 12, 2018 Jeff, sure you do. His kits are like assembling IM kits, but easier.  Use CA and epoxy instead of Tamiya extra thin. The only other thing on a Fisher kit is to degrease the parts with Simple Green, dish soap, or bleac, and lukewarm water with a toothbrush. 1
Jeff Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 it's the CA glue, that worries me......................, I would have parts stuck to my shirt, the dinner table, and half my fingers glued together...... not to mention, possibly a fork glued to my coffee cup..........and lets not even go to the TV control!!!!!!.............. so that is it in a nut shell...................................... 4
Jeff Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Also....................... I'm sure the dog may suffer too....... she would look funny with her tail stuck to her ears....................... the other Beagles would laugh at her... 1
Bomber_County Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Harv, there over there SQUIRREL, there over there.............. 3
smitty44 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 As long as you clean your hands before you go to the restroom...…. 4
Guest DannyVM Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Look's like a nice project, and surely very exotic also. I'm very curious about your progress Harv Greetz Danny

Peterpools Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Harv Yikes ... going to be great for sure Peter 2
HubertB Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Mine was stalled when one my cats decided he liked Paul’s resin and chewed the cockpit  ... Nothing that Paul’s great customer service could not solve, but enough to break the momentum ... A piece of advice : be careful with gluing the engine faces. I was careless when gluing them, and mine are not properly oriented and aligned. Not a big deal, only for inquisitive and peering eyes through the intakes, but I know I got them wrong  . And of course I glued and closed the fuselage, so I cannot change it now ... One day however, I will get back to it. Looking forward to your build, Harv. Hubert 3
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted September 12, 2018 Author Administrators Posted September 12, 2018 I heard another rumor that said he'd have it ready for the Nats in Chattanooga..... Just saying... 2
