harv Posted May 23, 2019 Author Posted May 23, 2019 Now I have an idea how it comes together. But I will need to modify it a bit. Oh well......harv 3
GazzaS Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 My motto is: If you can't see it when finished, it's not needed. I throw away a lot of interior parts. 5
BlrwestSiR Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Just catching up with this Harv. Lots of challenges there but it looks like you've made it through them. 2 1

Wolf Buddee Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Lookin' good Harvey! A little light on the paint in the middle of the Jumos but it's coming together nicely. Ready for Chattanooga? Cheers, Wolf 3 1

Martinnfb Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Harvey wouldn't make sense to assemble everything without paint and then hit the visible details afterwards ? I mean this is very simplistic airframe , plus what-if build. Just an idea. 1
harv Posted May 30, 2019 Author Posted May 30, 2019 I think it makes more sense to paint most of the panels first. Seems masking would be one big pita.......harv 1
Martinnfb Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 No masking, fully assembled, you have what? 4 holes to spray the paint into, then you mask them with sponge and you're ready for camouflage. Not sure if that makes sense? Internals have more-less the same colour , unless you have different finish in mind. 2
harv Posted May 30, 2019 Author Posted May 30, 2019 Silver top, sky blue bottom, big hole for the pit, very large front wheel well, and two large mains and all have things sticking out, fragile things.....harv 3
