You have started a trend with me Gaz, I was inspired by your Luftwaffe builds to get the Ju 88 then I bought the HE111-H6 and now after seeing your 110, I’m looking at ICM  but they haven’t issued one yet, any suggestions…..

This kit is by Dragon.   I highly recommend it.  Hardly any filler used at all.  Eduard makes them, too....    but I have heard from numerous sources that the Eduard 110 kits are a tortuous build.  Revell used to make some 110G's.  I have one in the stash, but haven't built it, yet.  Fujimi made them as well...   but nobody really recommends them.  It would be great if ICM did.

Thinking about it Gaz, the 110 is probably the only German twin that ICM haven’t produced plus 210 & 410…….

The Meng 410 ain't bad.  The spinners are a little short...   but easy enough to lengthen with some plastic sheet.  Mine from a couple years ago:

Bit more progress on the Huey, about ready for primer.

Fit of the cockpit pod into the fuselage halves was a bit of a pain. Even after a lot of sanding it still needed some styrene strip to fill the gap. Top surface is fine, so once it's sat in the display case it'll all be good.

I was thinking the same, but the fear of mental breakdown won. :)

I actually got the PCM together a few years ago and was almost done the paint job when I dropped it. The thing just shattered. So off to the bin it went.

With Revell coming out with a new Hurricane, I thought maybe I should glue a couple more parts together on my Fly one.

So far just the upper wing so that I can get a sorta decent wing root fit.

Nice work, Carl!  I haven't built a Hurricane since I was 12 years old.  1/48 scale Monogram.  I think I may be due...   once that new one comes out.

My eye is twitching just by thinking about those “ minor adjustments “ lol

great work Carl.

Thanks Martin. Definitely a kit that needs planning two steps ahead.

Got the wing tip lined up as best I could.

It could've been better if I used CA I think.

The inserts for the gun ports are on now. Tweaking them before gluing them in place should reduce the amount of filling.

Starting to look the part.

Carl

Nice progress on the Hurricane. The inserts for the gun ports are as good or better then those on a lot of newer kits, including the Revell P-51. Just never understood why this is such a difficult part to mold correctly and fit.

Keep 'em comin

Thanks Peter. They took a bit of dry fitting but the spent was worth it  The annoying part was they kept falling inside the wing when I was doing the test fitting. Then they'd get stuck somewhere and I'd have to shake the plane until they fell out. And then repeat.

Hedge work FINALLY done! Had to re-do some of it as the glue didn't hold the leaves on. So had to use neat PVA.

Quite happy with how it's turned out. Just waiting to get some spray adhesive for the tree foliage. I don't want to get that wrong. To much time invested in them. Then it'll be onto some armour and figures for it :)
