1to1scale
I had been away from the bench on vacation for almost 2 weeks, but back to working on the hound. I put MR Sufacer 500 around all the windows, now waiting for it to dry up.

1to1scale
I thought I was done, nope, this area is giving me problems, I am going to have to give it another layer of filler, then let it dry for a day, sand, then primer and let it sit for a day to sand again. Frustrating.

1to1scale
While filler is drying, I’m trying to finish up all subassemblies, finishing up the engine, tires, rotors, etc. I’m also trying to bend some droop into the blades, have them sitting in a bent position right now, going to release them in the morning and see if a little stays in. I’m only looking for a little droop. I don’t want to put any heat to them.
TJTX
This is going to be amazing Mark. I'm blown away by your scratch building abilities here.
1to1scale
Thanks Tony, but I figured out a lot of ways not to do things so far. I want to make another Helo-liner using an Mi-8, there are definitely things I’m going to do differently next helo.
1to1scale
I did some more assembly work while the filler is drying on the body. i decided to scratch build a gearbox assy so you won’t see just a blank plate through the top opening, I used some spare parts and sprues for a little pizazz. I also started painting the main and tail rotors. And finally drilled 36 holes for the hydraulic lines on the main rotor. Unfortunately, this has decimated my drill bits, so I’m going to have to find more.
