Martinnfb Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Shading, winch connectors, panel separation on the centre console all of this is absolutely top notch. The visual breakdown of every segment is simply stunning. Cheers Martin 3
Peterpools Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Oliver Amazing work as always and I only wish I could do what you do Keep 'em comin Peter 2
Bomber_County Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Ok Oliver, I officially retire from this hobby after seeing your WIP……..stunning….. 4
Peterpools Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 Oliver Simply brilliant work ... I've never seen an IP and center console look this realistic. Incredible work. Keep 'em comin Peter
Peterpools Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 Oliver I simply blown away - - just incredible work and the detail is spectacular. Keep 'em comin Peter 1
shark64 Posted March 25, 2022 Author Posted March 25, 2022 Hi i had to check the main rotor height before closing up the fuselage since once that’s done there is no turning back. Question of the day. Folded blades or not. This kit is huge and I am worry once I had the truck it will be a rather piece. 8 1
Peterpools Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 Oliver Nothing new to say as I'm still gasping for air - every time you post an update. My Vote: BLADES NEED TO BE IN THE EXTENDED, FLIGHT POSITION. Just doesn't have the appeal when the blades are flush up against the fuselage. Of course, space is always a consideration but if there is anyway to have them out and hanging in the wind, that's my vote. Keep 'em comin Peter 2

shark64 Posted December 13, 2022 Author Posted December 13, 2022 Hi Everyone. Been a while since i posted here. I have stopped on the Ch 46 since it was becoming a headache(by my own doing), i have now started back on the H.34. I will post few photos when I have an update. Oliver 2 1
Peterpools Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Oliver Missed your updates and drooling over your work. Right with Harv and looking forward to the H34 build and updates 1
shark64 Posted December 13, 2022 Author Posted December 13, 2022 Attached the doors with brass rods. Next will be trying to duplicate the heat shields on both sides of the cowlings. So many sub assemblies with helicopters. 6 3
harv Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 My God man, that fantastic Oliver !!....harv 1
Peterpools Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 Oliver Right with Harv... brilliant detailing and some incredible modeling. And here, I struggle with building a 'complicated' kit OOB, shame on me.
shark64 Posted December 20, 2022 Author Posted December 20, 2022 So I am debating if I add the heat shields inside the cowlings, if I do, most of the details will disappear. Help 5 3
KevinM Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Sir don't you usually do Dio's with these helo's?If so could a ground crew be pulling back a section?otherwise you have a pic you build for accuracy.I wish I had some of you guys patience me I like to glue. 2
shark64 Posted December 20, 2022 Author Posted December 20, 2022 Yes, this will be a dio. My build are not always accurate. It's more a visual thing for me 3

shark64 Posted December 25, 2022 Author Posted December 25, 2022 Finished the cowlings today. I started on the mesh screens( its a pain in the A%$ to trim correctly) will post photos when thats done. Happy Holidays to all. Oliver 1 1
Peterpools Posted December 25, 2022 Posted December 25, 2022 Oliver Just blown away as always - just find the level and perfection of your scratch building keeps raising the bar. I'm in the leave the mesh off camp and place it on the side in the dio, as covering up any of your detailing would be a modeling crime of the greatest proportions. 1
