JohnB Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 I was going through photos of some of my built models and came on the one's of my 2nd build of the HpH 1/32 P-63C Kingcobra. I really like how this one turned out and I thought I'd share it with you guys since I wasn't in the Group then. Certainly not a shake and bake but it really makes a nice model. If anyone has one of these unbuilt and would part with it let me know. 13 1
HubertB Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Looking good John ! And a proof that HPH kits CAN bebuilt, and turned into excellent replicas Hubert 7
Administrators Fran Posted March 20, 2020 Administrators Posted March 20, 2020 Really nice workon a hard kit! 5
Martinnfb Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 I followed your work on LSP John, very nice build. I use to have this kit, but chicken out from it. One has to have huge skill set and a true balls of steel to accomplish such a beautiful result. Go John! Cheers Martin 4

You might remember, this was the 2nd one I built. I really liked the kit and wish I had bought another one so I could do one in IndoChina French markings. If I can snag another that's what I'd likely do. Best! John 3
DocRob Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Very nice finish of one of the harder to build kits. I like the NMF for contrast, as most of the Cobras seem to have been OD. Cheers Rob 4
JohnB Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Thank you. I feel the same way. They just look better in NMF. 3
JohnB Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Just for grins, here's my 1st one. I did it a Frank Borman's "A". 7

Administrators Clunkmeister Posted April 13, 2020 Administrators Posted April 13, 2020 The kit certainly has it's challenges, but sure turns into a nice model. Stunning work, John. 2

JohnB Posted May 2, 2020 Author Posted May 2, 2020 If anyone has one of these you would sell or trade for please send me a PM.
