I'm going to have to sell some of them at some point, but it's so difficult to decide what to get rid of first....

I could give you some recommendations... but that really depends on what you charge for shipping to Australia.;)

I like your idea for a WnW tribute,, Here is 90% of my WnW stash and the builds that are in my display case. The rest are on display at our local hobby shop.

The guy has a container trailer for his stash. Not baaaaad not bad at all. I only have. 30x40 building, and a third of that is overflow, so you win.

Perhaps we could consider a mini Wingut Wings tribute group build in the near future.  In honor of the guys that put so much effort into creating the wonderful kits we love.  I know they would like nothing more than to see them built.

Pfft. Who cares. I’m all in for a WNW GB and I’ll rattle it off the walls in the Great Hall of Power, and see what is said.

Me too!  Excellent idea.

The problem with WNW group builds is there is never enough time to do a kit justice.

Especially if you build like me.... glacial would be the Indy 500 to me.

And I will say that since 2010 when I first came on a model forum , I have noticed that forums wax and wane.

And sometimes they die.

If its their time then that can happen. As far as guys fighting and not liking each other , if you dont like each other on one forum , you wont like each other on another forum.

I've been in some fights , I've watched fights.

I saw with utter dismay a very good man and exceptional modeller be attacked and his forum had to fold.

I'm not the most popular and sometimes i'm even ignored when I offer help or participate.

I dont cry about these things because I know it wont do any good . I continue to model and contribute on a couple of forums simply because I get interest in my work.

Simple.

If its a forums time to see an exodus then thats the way it will be.

The group build doesn't need to bo officially or anything.   Just a bit of a gentleman's agreement to get going on one.  No time limits, no stress, just a fun build to honor those guys.

I know there are guys who go that extra distance to make it extra special...  Mebbe we can make it longer than usual?

I placed an order for a Camel from a shop in Buffalo prior to seeing any of this news. My order has been "processing" for the better part of a week now. I have a number of WNW kits in the stash; all but the Felixstowe are single seaters. I was really looking forward to that Dr.1 :-(

I wanted a DH.4 and Be.2 in the worst way

That's part of what I feel the events has stolen from us:  The hope that they would be announced maybe next.

Again, as Ern as my witness I predicted the 0/400 long before it was ever announced, ad nauseum. After seeing the box art I decided I would much rather have the 0/100 in the giraffe camo. I was sooo dang close. I do have about 18 though, including both types of Gothas, AEG, early Felix.
