  1. Had a nice relaxing stroll around the UK IPMS show at Telford yesterday, not the usual crowded halls and loads of people, only two halls in use instead of the normal three so we could actually get round easily and see the fine models that were on display. Entry was conditional on proof of vacination and either IMPS membership or booked tickets, as is normally the case IPMS members were let in one hour before the general public. For some reason I did not take that many photos, but here is some of the better ones. Cheers Dennis
  2. Nice one John, the Spitfire looks good in desert garb and suits those markings. Cheers Dennis
  3. Looks just the job, nice one Cheers Dennis
  4. Shaping up nicely. Cheers Dennis
  5. Looks like it is progressing nicely and you are winning, the wings look great. Cheers Dennis
  6. Looking good, I must admit that I like Revell kits, fantastic value for money and good subjects, I have a couple of Mustangs in the stash waiting their turn. Cheers Dennis
  7. Looking good, but then again it is a Spitfire Cheers Dennis
  8. If it works don't knock it Cheers Dennis
  9. Great project it should look most impressive Cheers Dennis
  10. Nice choice, I built three US Spitfires a while ago one being a desert schemed Mk.V and the Spitfire looks great in that scheme with US markings, a Mk. IX should be good. Cheers Dennis
  11. PCM Hurricane fabric wing version. Cheers Dennis
  12. Get well soon, good to hear that you are on the mend. Cheers Dennis
  13. Not a fun thing to happen but you are still with us and in the right place, take it easy and as ever follow advice from the experts. Cheers Dennis
  14. No problem Carl, my current build theme is RAF and PCM so I have three on the go, I've just finished the Tempest and the fabric wing Hurricane is in the paint shop, so I started this one. I'm getting back to basics after three Hasegawa builds. Cheers Dennis
  15. Glutton for punishment. Cheers Dennis
  16. Looks good, a suitably weathered finish for the harsh condtions, and a bit of touch up is likely highly probable. Cheers Dennis
  17. Looking at a couple of builds on other sites it looks to be like the same standard as the PCM models that I am currently building, not a new state of the art type of engineering. I still bought one and will build it regardless. Cheers Dennis
  18. Most impressive Cheers Dennis
  19. I did build two Tamiya 1/48 scale Beaufighters but it did not satisfy the large scale fan in me, hopefully it will be better than the Helldiver. Cheers Dennis
  20. Nice one, after following Stews builds over on Britmodeller I have both the Gladiator and Sea Gladiator in the stash, there is so much early war history around the subject https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235088706-icm-132-gloster-gladiator-belgian-air-force-and-gloster-sea-gladiator-hal-far-fighter-flight-malta/ Cheers Dennis
  21. What fantastic progress, and now the fun bits, paint and markings. Cheers Dennis
  22. This is fast even by your standards, but it does remind me that I have one of those in the stash and the P40 was a truly iconic WW2 fighter so I must plan a build in sometime. Cheers Dennis
  23. Too big for me, I could not find anywhere to keep it in one piece, plus it is slightly over my £100 limit for kit purchases, I did get a Tamiya Mosquito for exactly £100 at a show but I think that it was a one off as I have not seen it anywhere near that since. I might think about breaking it for an IM 1/32 Defiant, Fulmar, Skua, Battle or a Barracuda but not by much. Cheers Dennis
  24. Great photos of some great builds, thank you for taking the time to post them. Cheers Dennis
  25. That looks good, it reminds me that I must get back to my PCM Fabric wing version which is in the paint shop, and I have a few FLY kits awaiting my attention as well. Cheers Dennis
