  1. Nice pics again Erik. Very informative background information too. Cees
  2. George, In fact we have part of that Meteor intake in storage and a footpedal as well. Another model We need for the display. Cees
  3. Your attention to detail is breathtaking. On the other hand you make it look So simple. Thanks for teaching us. Cees
  4. Hmm it was more meant as a matter of speech, but I am a big chap haha. Cees
  5. Agreed, mine wil be a KLu version. And a RAF wartime example when Fisher brings out the conversion set. Having sat in a Meteor cockpit last week it really fondled my thingies. Cees
  6. Peter, I agree, resin is not exactly mainstream, but suitable for the lesser known subjects. I like how they represented the leading edge intake to form the duct inside. Is David Collins helping you with references? Cees
  7. Peter, The detail you are putting into this engine is uncanny. Will only one engine be exposed? Cees
  8. Wow Erik, Great pics, looking at them WNW certainly did their homework. Cees
  9. Nice choice Ollie, The T33 does not come up often at forums. Cees
  10. Excellent pics Big guy, Very useful for reference. Cees
  11. Hi Peter, Good to see the Sea Hornet here. And it looks a winner too. Cees
  12. Now I know why the Typhoon wasn't seen at Hendon, it's now at Cosford. Rumor has it that it will be loaned to another Museum in...Canada? Any confirmaton in this? The Whitley tailsection was very interesting to inspect, the unused fuselage frame on the wall next to it even more. The Ian Huntley drawing I have been using is totally wrong regarding the cross section. Need to look at more photographs. This past weekend was a blast, and the company too. Cees
  13. Westland Whirlwind (no news about Special Hobby progress for ages) Martin Baker MB5 Handley Page Hampden (well it's a twin) CA 15 To name just a few Cees
  14. That Typhoon really was a surprise and the quality of the kit is fantastic. The quilted skin Effect is amazing. Cees
  15. He is, and a very nice gentleman too. His drawings were used for the new Horten kit he told LSM. Cees
  16. Rog, You alone are responsible for solving the financial crisis. Thank you! Cees
  17. Great artwork, so if you need good drawings http://www.albentley-drawings.com/drawings/ Cees
  18. Such an observation car used to hang at the IWM London. These guys surely had the bollocks to Do their duty. No matter what the risk. A Vimy would be nice too. Cees RFC/RAF afficionado
  19. V1500? Yes, I like em big. Cees
  20. Yes, strangely it is, it even had a shield confirming the scale. The studio site was formerly a Mosquito factory ( the wooden variety) . Cees
  21. Yes, they tried to prevent me by putting me on a BA flight with a bunch of cabine personell from hell And nice turbulence mixed in too. Saw only one 1/32 model, but a great one: the real Hogwarts maquette Used for filming at the Leavesden studios, and not a Mosquito in sight. Cees
