  1. Not a fan of HPH kits but this one really is essential on the workbench. Cees
  2. Seeing is believing Cees
  3. Thanks Neil, Well HK Models really made sure the wings stay in the right place. The fit is fantastic and firm. No problems about that. Especially after I had to take it apart without breaking anything. Cees
  4. Tom, Nobody said that you have to be in a hurry. Take your time and spoil us. Cees
  5. Very nice progress, Regarding glazing for instrument faces I use ordinary sellotape over the instruments. When the layer is put over that the instruments really shine like real glass. Cees
  6. Craig, The D has a whole different "face" than the later fortresses, it seems like you nailed it very well. How are you going to fair in the windscreen into the fuselage? Putty or plastic? Cees
  7. The main fuselage has been rescribed. Very pleased about the strakness of the lines. Note to self: mark out entrance door first before rescribing. Saves me some filling. Mr Surfacer will take care of that one. Glad that major bit is out if the way. Marking out the apples....errr windows next. Cees
  8. Craig, a York eh? Might keep you up on that one. Your build and and Tom's Shackleton are top notch in my humble opinion. Cees
  9. Tom, Fantastic, what more can I say without depleting the Queen's vocabulary. My favourite topic already. Cheers Cees
  10. Thanks Graham, Can you specify the changes as opposed to the Spiteful? Cees
  11. Hi Craig, One of my favourite builds, thanks for posting it here too. Cees
  12. Work is continuing with the tedious stuff, engraving the panellines. Using dymotape and a Tamiya scriber. Also noted that the bombbay was too short so cut that part out too. Have to stick that bit back on the bombdoors later. Cheers Cees
  13. So you just shove the engine up the cowling with the back end sticking out? Cees
  14. That turned out very well. Congrats! Cees
  15. You dated a jet engine? Suck sqeeze blow bang? Just kidding, but it must have been quite a shock to find out. By the way, welcome to LSM Michael. Cees
  16. Always helpful having good sized drawings. Cees
  17. Adolf Galland? Cees
  18. Your build or that I will never feature in the modelling magazines? Only joking, I really liked your article. Cees
  19. That is one very nicely excecuted and perfectly rendered Mossie, how would that look in 1/32. Well done. Cees
  20. Congrats chaps, Read Fran's build this weekend, very nicely done. By the way, who is Jim Hatch? Cheers Cees (who is sure he will never be published in any modelling magazine LOL)
  21. Very nice project Rob, The Tiger Moth is a very nice petit model in our scale but with great character. Cees
  22. Sprue shots of the elevators have been posted on their site too. Cees
  23. Thanks Neil, Good to see you here, your build on Britmodeller was the inspiration for this one. Working on seats and sofa's at the moment. Cheers Cees
