    M-1A was the non selective version of the M-14.

    The M-1A/M-14 was intended to replace the M-1 Garand and the Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR). And as usual, trying to replace 2 weapons with one usually fails. I was privileged to have a select fire M-14 as my issue weapon when I was a HH-1K Crew Chief.

    Heard more than a couple of bad reviews on this kit. Hope they (someone) comes out with a canvas mantlet cover like whats on the box art but not in kit. And maybe an A2 conversion (diesel)

    Just when I think I have everything for my IDA Spitfire build, they come out with something else.
