I would like to see it as close as possible to being accurate. Then let the modelers model and the a/m guys do their thing and everybody is happy. Meanwhile.......back on earth.....I just want it to be successful and the majority be happy that the kit in this scale is available. That huge "green house" of a canopy just screams for a detailed cockpit.

I see your point. I was counting the Mk.V series as one. And that wasn't right on my part. I have 25 1/35 scale Sherman variant kits. And only 2 duplicates.

Bronco, AFV and Trumpeter seem to be showing a little love toward the A/T gun family. About time. Getting a bit weary of just the 88 and the British 6-Pounder. 2014 has started to be a quite the year for us "Tread Heads". With new releases in injection form that use to be available in difficult, and horribly expensive, resin only. Dragons new line of "Black Label" kit's has started off with the US M-103A1. While supposedly released in January I have yet to receive mine. My model club, Temecula Valley Model Club, pre-orderd 6 of them. We got them at a great price so we are being patient. Black Label planned releases are, as of right now, the US MBT 70 and US M6 Heavy Tank. Artillery, both direct and indirect, seems to be getting aggressive also. As I receive about 2 to 3 emails a day from I will start posting some announcements here. 2014 is starting out very well for us armored guys. Waiting, praying/dreaming for for that elusive new mold AMX-13 and M-47.

I thin Tamiya Surface Primer with lacquer thinner. Should work with Mr. Surfacer also. And it will dry real fast.

Might as well wait. 1A seat sat 7" higher and there wasn't a floor window (if the Tamiya Birdcage has one(?) As soon as you start hacking, chance's are the next version will come out.

​White mineral spirits will be fine. You sure picked a hard color to brush. What color is the base? Is it possible to mask and and spray it?

Love the project. Seeing as how you seem to like the A/M as I do, have you thought about the G-Factor landing gear struts. I have some for mine and their gorgeous.
