  1. I did Green 1 in 72nd scale. Complete with pe cockpit set. My last build in that scale. Took me a month to uncross my eyes.
  2. Even I'd be up for that. Have the Tamiya Mk. IX with all the Barracuda goodies and Kagero Israeli markings. F-105G gets pushed back again.
  3. Greetings John! Thank you for taking a peek in here. We have some very good builders who eat, sleep and fantasize about 109's. How about stepping over to the "Say Hello" forum and introduce yourself. Again, welcome.
  4. Right here Dave. http://www.arrow-wolf.com
  5. Not sure I understand. Something like this? p47D drawing
  6. Take these pictures with your new camera?
  7. Nice color. Nice step up also.
  8. I was informed by a source I trust that the vehicle is a JS-2.
  9. BTW- I use Future to glue pe. Works like a champ.
  10. Me thinks you might want to start doing too much at the beginning. Most kits will have some rivet detail on them that will show up during a pin or sludge wash. I would concentrate on the glueing and painting part first. Then work your way up to the other stuff.
  11. Thank you for posting formula mixtures and so on. That is what's really helpful here at LSM.
  12. The cables are rolled putty!!?? Wow. Nice stuff there Christos.
  13. Hope someone does that North Afikan version. Really stands out from the usual scheme's you see.
  14. Wow. A European "Redneck". Great to place a face to a name. Your a lot prettier than your avatar Cee's.
  15. Nothing works on painted surfaces. At least not very well. The whole concept of plastic cement is to create a chemical reaction. In a nutshell, it melts the two surfaces together. And paint will act a barrier between the 2 surfaces so the bond will easily be broken by 1 surface simply pulling the paint off the other. That is why both (or 3 or 4) surface faces must be paint free and clean.
  16. Who's the guy in the photo's?
  17. BTW- There is nothing wrong with a minuscule stash. Most of us here wish our's was that. I am to the point where I have convinced myself and tell others that I collect models and once in a while i actually will build one.
  18. Paul- Be sure to do your research. The "Spad" you have is an early version, Korean war era. As SEA (South East Asia) is usually related to the Vietnam war time frame the type flown then would include -H's and -J's. But then again, their your kits. Do as you wish as long as you have fun doing them.
  19. Just got their Russian Armor Modulation set for the up and coming GB. Might invest in this also.
  20. Looks lie some very nice detail work. How about going over to the "Say Hello" forum and introduce yourself. Would like to know more about you and welcome you to LSM.
  21. Awesome museum. Love the 1-1 stuff. That last picture a KV-85 I think. Don't see too many of those.
  22. Great job on the weathering. Got that "field" look to it.
  23. One of the reasons I like the Micro Mark pin vice set, Their hollow in the middle so you can "choke up" the bit as far as you want to. http://www.micromark.com/4-piece-machinists-pin-vise-set,7764.html
  24. I believe they war field applied so it may be impossible to be wrong.
  25. Micro drill bits and pin vices are some of my most used tools outside of the usual suspects.
