Apparently, the enamel paints aren't sold in the US, at least nobody stocks them here as far as I know -

Nice work. Tamiya still has the larger bottles. The smaller bottles being descrbed as mini. Their lacquers are sold in the smaller bottles. The annoying thing is that when they introduce a new color, it's always in the smaller size....don't know why. -
1/18 Hawker Sea Fury - probably VX620..

Items today. From Tamiya their B1 bis German Army Panzerkampfwagen B2 740 (f) (35287). In1/35. This is an out of production kit and hard to find. It offers Decal options and parts not found in the other boxings. A different turret cupola , concrete armor, tools, and etc are included. I've been looking for this version for some time. Next, a couple more "Egg Girls" from Hasegawa . These are both out of production kits and in this country are only found at often inflated prices. I found these two on Ebay from a Japanese seller for a very reasonable price. I know, these things are not for everyone here, but I like them. Next, a couple of items from the Brothers Sprue. For my recently purchased Hasegawa ki 84, a set of decals from ASK. The Hinamaru of the Hasegawa required overlapping a white circle decal with a red circle decal to get the white bordered hinamaru........stupid! Anyway, the options on this decal sheet look cool. I also bought some masks by Eduard for my Tamiya 1/32 A6M2 zero. The Tamiya kit includes masks but they need to be cut out .

Nicely done Hubert! -
Yes, just been going through the box..nice detail . the slide-molded styrene springs look great as do the weapons ( Lee Enfields, Brens, Thompsons, and Sten Mk IIs with slings). I saw that Gecko is releasing an earlier version of the Panzer II with the rounded front armor...that one's on my list. I already have one of the later examples.

'Been waiting for this....... From Gecko Models their big 1/16 scale Universal Carrier Mk. II (16GM0016). I'm thinking this will be a fun build..I'm not sure if I'll be getting the optional engine kit for this yet .....We'll see. Anyway, Gecko will be releasing a Mk. I version of the Carrier soon.

Some items today from PlazaJapan....... Hasegawa's Nakajima KI84 Type 4 Fighter Hayate/Frank (08074) in 1/32. Tamiya's Nakajima J1N1-Sa Night Fighter Gekko Type 11 Kou/IrvingIrving (61093) in 1/48 Two weapons in 1/12 scale from Tomytec; a RPG-7 (LAO61) and a G3A3 rifle (LAO821). From INFINI, A set of Diamond Taper Files Narrow 2.5 mm. (ICT-0007). Finally, from FineMolds, a turned brass barrel for their type 95 Ha-Go tank In 1/35. I haven't seen the Tamiya Gekko offered any place before and it really looks like a nice kit. I already have masks for it. The Hasegawa Ki-84 has always been on my list but has in the past been sold-out always.....found this one for about $ 22.00 USD at Plaza. I also have masks for this one. There is a surprising amount of nice aftermarket stuff for this kit. I'm going to look into that.

Nice Work! -
More items trickling in today...... An oldie from Tamiya in 1/35, their British Universal Carrier Mk.II European Campaign (35175). From Friulmodel, their ATL-65 tracks for the Centurion tank in 1/35. I will use this on my Amusing Hobby FV4005 as the "snap together" tracks from the kit, well, ......I don't think are worth the effort as they come apart again too easily. Last, some Surface Primer from Tamiya. Yes, it's Pink. This will be used on my '53 War of the worlds movie Martian. I heard that the Tamiya primer works on Vinyl (We'll see) and I thought that the pink primer would make a good base for the red-ish color I'll use on that thing. Anyway, I'm expecting more this week including some interesting items.

Nice one Peter! I just returned the rental car my insurance provided me with while My Cherokee was in the body shop. The rental car was a Kia and I really enjoyed it. Yes, the technology can be hard to get used to, but I'm sure You'll do just fine. Enjoy your new ride!

Some after market stuff...... Eduard masks and Tamiya photo-etch for Tamiya's 1/48 Swordfish. More Eduard Mask Sets for Tamiya's 1/48 Gekko and Hasegawa's 1/32 Ki 48 Hayate. Also an extra set for the Gekko by ASK. (Just in case). Last; a couple of spray cans of Mr, Color Spray Character flesh 1. This is for the "Egg Girl" kits I have.

Is that a Fi 156 Storch on the field? Hobby boss? -
Nice work Peter! I kind of agree about the engine. I don't like building models with open doors or panels. They eventually get lost or break off. I'm planning on building Takom's big FT 17 again, but doing it closed up. That kits interior is wrong for the Machine gun version. The ammo drums and racks are appropriate for the 1930's Reibel MG Equipped FT'S not those with the '14 Hotchkiss. So closed it will be.

Yes, I heard that. I considered buying the Trumpy kit but I thought it would be huge ,the Tamiya kit in 1/48 being pretty big. The Tamiya Storch kit I bought earlier looks like beautiful kit, very well engineered but it's tiny compared to their Swordfish.
-
Thanks, yes I did buy the PE, but unfortunately from a US supplier for about 3 times what Plaza has it. I also bought a Eduard mask set for it. The kit looks impressive.

Well, Peter the shipping is high. I only buy items that show significant savings and try to build my cart so that shipping is at the lowest. Here's a link. https://www.plazajapan.com/
