Four kits today... From ICM, Hobby Boss, and Tamiya. Three relatively obscure tanks and a Finnish StuG III... Also, a discussion with Amazon customer service about how they ship model kits......They ship them in bags! The Tamiya StuG was shipped in a bag and the box cover....slightly damaged. No big deal.....but seriously... BAGS ? buried

Sorry to hear that. Yes, for the most part easy to find, most suppliers have it. I went back home the other day to find both my bottles dried out...crap.

Today some minor stuff.... A couple of decal sets that can be used for the Hobbyboss T-26 '35 kit I recently purchased. First, from STAR DECALS, their 35-C 1173 Spanish Civil War T-26 Republican in 1/35. Some interesting options are offered. Second, from ECHELON, their D356060 Markings and Generic Stencils of Finish Sturmi. Really meant for Finnish StuG III's the Finnish style swastikas can be used on other vehicles. I haven't decide on which set I'll use. Oh, and I bought some Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500. The other day, I went to my home and returned with some tools to start a kit at Mom's...I chose the old Tamiya Churchill....I opened the kit....and... No "Polycaps"!. So, I couldn't start it. I emailed Tamiya USA...they emailed back that they would send me some....I haven't heard back from them after I sent them my return address... We'll see.

Great stuff Rob. I also like the Sparviero. It's a cool aircraft especially with the Italian camouflage schemes.

Two items today........ From HobbyBoss their Soviet T-26 light infantry tank mod. 1935 (82496) In 1/35. I've been interested in getting one of these for a while but thinking that it was a small kit and it was a little over-priced put me off.I found one at a reasonable price and I was glad to see, upon opening the box, that it has more parts than I thought, including workable tracks....but I intend to use the Friulmodel tracks I bought instead. Looks like a nice kit and I like the subject. I would like to see Takom produce one in 1/16 however, to go with their panzer 1 kits. Also today, another box of Friuls; their ATL-35 "Hetzer" late. These I'll use on my Tamiya hetzer or the Takom Swiss G 13 I bought recently.

Yes, but right now I have a situation to deal with. As I stated earlier, I am not living at home right now. My mother , age 90, suffered injuries from a fall. She had multiple fractures to her left humerus and wrist. I have been living at her home providing care for her. I am away from my bench and will be for the foreseeable future. I may be able to return to my home and bench when my sister arrives from Georgia to relieve me for a while. I may at that time do a quick build. The Takom SMK, for example, looks like it can be built quickly. The most time-consuming part being the tracks. The set of friuls I bought for this kit would make .the build even quicker. So it's Possible that a weekend build of mine might show up on this forum. Believe me, I'd like to do a build but I just can't manage it right now.

So far I have 12 sets with one more set coming in the mail on monday... Then, the Friul-a-thon will come to a pause.

This stuff came since Friday; First, 5 sets of Friulmodel tracks; ATL-32 Valentine ATL-96 Su-76 ATL-184 SMK ATL-75 T-35 tank ATL-45 T-26 tank Also some Starbond Accelerator. Last; from Tamiya their German Tank Destroyer Marder III (35248)

Rob, it looks like you're going to have a lot of work to do with those wheels! I'm sure they will be well worth the effort. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to your build and following every post!

Looks great John!. I really like the Corsair in camouflage! I must someday get a big Tamiya Corsair, but I have a big walk-in closet full of models to build first. John, how about building the big Tamiya Zero next? I've got that one and I'd really like to have someone skilled as you are, show me how it's done!
