Neil First time I heard anyone say masking canopies is their favorite part of a build but a tool we need to get better reacquainted as some of the older and smaller models, lack masks set that can't be purchased. Any chance of doing a tutorial on how you go about making masks? There are quite a few 1/72 kits I would like to build but can't find any mask sets and in a scale that small, I've failed so often.

Martin Looking good - I know your pain as I had to make all my own masks for the Kingfisher greenhouse canopy. Too me days to do. Of course, removing the masks at the end, is painless and only takes a few minutes.

Martin The Revell Spit is way easier and a lot les demanding the Mossie. But you THE MAN.

Carl Looking good and no rush, as I seem to do the same these days. Even on the Revell Spit, I've had a few days this past week, I had zero desire to work on it, so I started to build two merlin engines in prep for the Lancaster build. One was from the Border kit (RR Merlin) and the other was from the Tamiya P-51D _ Packard Merlin) just to see how it goes together as compared to the Tamiya Merlin There is a huge difference and the biggest difference, the Border instructions aren't very clear and leave a lot to be desired. Tamiya's instructions are bullet proof. Just warming up for the Lancaster.

Chris Glad to see you're at the painting stages and working out a POA - which is so important. I fully appreciate the work and effort the rudder and tail required, after playing around with the Spitfires replacement resin ailerons which needed a lot of work to fit, I went the easy route and glued them in place, slightly deflected with medium thick CCA. If they fail to stay in place, I'll have to go the route of brass rod 🙃. Yup, the glass is going to be a delicate operation but my money is riding on you. Looking forward to the first round of photographs as the Big Cat works her way through the paint shop.

Nice start on the Phantom. Need to take a closer look at KLP's offerings.

Oliver Holy Smokes - going, no is an epic build already and getting better and better. For your first time out of the box building a truck, why am I not amazed? Awesome start for sure.⭐

John Yup, one good looking aircraft that never quite made the cut. I've had a desire to actually start building a few 1/72 jets, especially first generation aircraft and this surely will get me to buy and build a few.

Moss Green - Gaz and Martin - thank you for the explanation. Honestly, I never heard of the color before, as I'm not an armor builder but who knows what will pop up in the future..

Phil I haven't a kit in the stash that goes that far back but these days, it's like money in the bank. Looking forward to following your Mossie build.

Fran Nice going on the kits, especially the Hurricane. On our side of the pond, we're still waiting as it seems, here in the states we're close or at the bottom of the distribution list these days.🙁
