  17. Gaz Always nice to be able to fall back on a kit in progress when we get trapped into waiting for AM parts to show up. And of course, right with you on how I feel about a lot of AM - costly and always a on line hunt takes place trying to find everything which never seems to work out as planned. Keep 'em comin Peter
  18. Thanks Hubert I'm right with you. With all the access panels closed and leaving out the interior details/parts in those areas, the fit issues shouldn't be as bad and I'll be finding out for sure in the next few days. Just need to tackle the nose assembly/panels and then I should hopefully be able to close up the fuselage. I'm not a fan of leaving all the access panels open and off, which for me kills the look and feel of the model, not to mention all the fit issues they cause. Keep 'em comin Peter
  19. Kai Thanks for the heads up on the AK Black Super Glue as it absolutely solves the problem of knowing what gaps where actually filled with CCA. The Mirage is looking so good and can't wait to see her as she rolls through the paint shop. Keep 'em comin Peter
  20. GAz Nice fix and after reading Kai's post, I took another look and she is big. Weather looks just right and so very well done Keep 'em comin Peter
  21. I've owned more then a few model/air brush compressors over the years and most lasted about 5 years or so. My last compressor before purchasing the Iwata setup, failed with a small air leak/crack in the air tank and as soon as I discovered it, in the trash it went. I try to clean the compressor air tank our once a year which flushes out the accumulated rusty water. Keep 'em comin Peter
  22. Awesome paint scheme for sure Keep 'em comin Peter
  23. Gaz Did you ever think you would spend this much time, energy and money purchasing AM for a build? How the hobby has changed. So what is going to be your fill in project until the 109 AM arrives? Keep 'em comin Peter
  24. Thanks Kai Just puts the pressure on more working on a collectors item. All my weathering is nothing more then a light wash and then careful dry brushing. I'm going to try some filters and light bleaching on the exterior but nothing major. Keep 'em comin Peter
  25. Thanks Gaz Never ever would have thought a KH kit would become a collectors item but it just might Keep 'em comin Peter
