Kai The lighter panel shading looks perfect and the weathering surely has an worn, operation feel. Notes being taken Keep ‘em comin Peter- 719 replies

Kai I've used many air brushes over the years and the best I have ever used are H&S. I do break down the airbrush after a painting session and with the Infinity, it's a snap. I do like shooting Model Air and it's way too easy to use an AB that has some thinner or cleaner left in it that isn't compatible with Vallejo paints and it only takes a second or two and the Model Air turns into goo. I found having a dedicated air brush for Vallejo, helps eliminate the making a mistake that will take a good hour or so to remedy. For all my other paints, whether Acrylics or Lacquers, I use my Infinity AB's 100% of the time. Keep 'em comin Peter- 719 replies

John Gloss Black for the base seems to yield a deeper, metallic shine and the gloss gray yields a bit more of an oxidized finish. I'm leaning towards the gloss gray for a more operational look. Keep 'em comin Peter

Hi John Awesome NMF and applied over a smooth gray primer, the aluminum finish has a very realistic metallic sheen. Going to have to give your method a try. Keep 'em comin Peter

Kai Underside weathering is looking so good and laying down light, thinned out layers is the perfect technique. For all air brush work, except Model Air, I use two H&S Infinity CR Plus Air brushes - one with a .2 tip and the other with a .4 tip. Just love the feel of the way they paint. For Model Air, I use a dedicated Grex air brush to avoid problems of the Vallejo paint mixing with other paints and becoming instant goo enjoying your air brush work and picking up tips and ideas with each update Keep ‘em comin Peter- 719 replies
