  7. Kev Beautiful build .. one awesome Spit. Just love Tamiya kits and their Merlin engines, even built OOB a kit in themselves. I built my Mossie a number of years back along with a bundle of Spits and 'Stangs and the highlights of those builds were Tamiya's engines. Just a couple of pics of those Merlin. Keep 'em comin Peter

  11. John Please post a photo or two of your 1/48 Classic Airframe build - looking forward to to seeing how you worked your magic on it. Just the disease we all seem to suffer from. Maybe we can do a GB with the Whirlwinds, as so many of the guys have purchased them. I'm hoping a few decal sheets will become available so we have a selection of paint schemes if the kit becomes a popular build here on LSM. Keep 'em comin Peter

  17. Hi Oliver Once I came to grips with the disease and started my battle, step one was chemo and working with my doctors. I've had all sorts of issues with the cancer drugs and chemicals and I'm well on the road to a full recovery. Plenty of time to model and build as I'm home 99% of the time. Keep 'em comin Peter

  21. Good call with deciding to use Quickboost Landing Gear Doors .. they look so much better and no injector pin marks. Weathering looks the part on the Tailwheel doors as well. Keep 'em comin Peter
