    For a change I have something to share, a good deal on Evilbay all three for the cost of one of them at RRP. I think Eduard have discontinued them though…..now to get the kit to put them on……..

    Very nice Jerry, really clean build. I wanted to do the late -3 with the more traditional intermediate blue and plain stars…….but aggrieved at paying a third again for less decals and exactly the same kit…..

    Does anyone know if there exists early US insignia masks, just the star, no bar….. the F4F-3 comes with yellow wings scheme and the later version is another £15 more 😬…….so if I could find masks it would be good, spent nearly all day on this

    Years ago, I reckon early 90’s when I was dabbling again at modelling I bought at a show, this……….together with this book. If I remember the guy wanted some ridiculous low money for both bits…….. somewhere I still have this as I remember trying to use it on a Monogram Wildcat………the book will be useful in the coming build…..

    Thanks Hubert, I bought a load of Eduard AM on evil bay for the -3, amazing cheaply. I asked the question first about the kit hoping a praying I hadn’t made a mistake. Now looking for for a deal on the kit and I’m away. It looks as it this could be a relatively inexpensive 32nd project, thanks again Hubert……

    Kai, there is only a few of the parts. The main armament is fully detailed but when the turret is complete it disappears. Not really sure about full interior AFV’s as there is no way to display, bar cutting the sides off……a few more links to complete…..glad I found out prior to buying the full interior boxing….

    Peter, the company is apparently Arma Hobbies…….they have done a lot in 72nd and expanding into 48th, I definitely have a look at the Airfix though, it been 50 years since I bought Airfix…….never say never……

    So actually found some al fresco modelling today, nice weather in Blighty for a change. RFM have missed a beat here, the pure “external “ kit as I said before has a lot of “ interior” parts on the sprues. But, in the exterior boxing they do not mention them, for instance the cupola hatch has all the catches in the box but no reference. I looked at the full interior instructions and there they are…….

    Kai, absolutely stunning, again just catching up, this is going to an awesome build. I use AK Interactive Camouflage Elastic Putty, it’s brilliant and is relatively cheap. It adheres perfectly due to I think the latex? Also reusable again and again……

    Talking of Hurricanes, I’d love a either 32nd or 48th but cannot find any good reviews, any ideas guys. Apparently a new company Armahobby are bringing a 48th to market…
