  1. That’s exactly why I took 18 odd years away from the hobby because I was renovating a house built in 1550………when we came to move again in found boxes that hadn’t been opened since we moved previously……..but now I have unpacked……
  2. Gaz, absolutely stunning, haven’t stepped up to 1/16 yet…..great weathering…….you will love RFM, quality of the moulding is excellent, fit is great to, be interested in your observations……
  3. Very nice collection Kevin and superb woodworking skills. Years ago whilst skiing in Canada I discovered New Yankee Workshop. I have to admit that in all the years I have been building ……..have never done a Hurricane……..that’s ridiculous……..so next stash item will be a Hurricane. Any suggestions…..preferably 1/48 but be nice in 32nd but not the Fly Models ……
  4. Hmmmmmm more naughty words……tut tut…….
  5. Have I been an influencer……….heaven forbid……..Rob you will love the ZM, yes the stencils did take a long time but quite therapeutic……..at sometime I might just do another F4 from ZM…….the tolerances are similar to WnW a paint coat will through it off…….
  6. Well the 2nd test starts tomorrow at 11.00 GMT / BST………I personally love 5 day test matches but can see the benefit of 20/20 but………..not a fan of hit every ball for six……..or try to ……..IMHO it dilutes the beautiful game…..
  7. Stunning Rob, the weathering and colour modulation is superb….
  8. We are missing a few guys at the moment, not sure why they didn’t go for the win?
  9. You can post direct here without going through a third party site……
  10. Thanks Kev, well recommend RFM so far, I got it from Jumblies, https://www.jumbliesmodels.com/ it was on sale at the time…….just keep an eye out. I think they are usually around the £40-45 mark which makes Dragon these days look expensive………but as you said a lot of plastic so your money……..glad the Gorilla glue helped. In the small tubes you do not tend to waste a lot…..
  11. Thanks Peter, it’s lift out, you need to have a dabble into armour……..
  12. Thanks Kai, the engine is only just laid in position at present so I can lift it out, the engine is stunning….
  13. Thanks Gaz, the engine is a real gem. Probably that’s about the extent of the interior, the sprues are not in this boxing but I’ll be able to open the back up …….
  14. Test Match Special - First test match , England v New Zealand……….few will understand………

  19. Rats, love chocolate. A good trap and wire the chocolate to the trap, you’ll have them then……..
  20. There soon going to be a squadron of them soon with the amount being delivered……….group build
  21. Looking good Carl, are you painting it out before reinstalling? One idea, if you put ceiling board to the beams, you could have adjustable LED spots recessed in it. Another trick we use in interiors is a wall / ceiling edge cove light. Could light this with a string of LED’s again…just a thought……
  22. I look away for a day or two and boom it’s ready for the spray booth…….looking good though……
  23. Whilst using AK Camo Elastic Putty, I put it down over night. The stuff is almost self levelling………..
