Also 390th were called “ Wittans Wallopers” based at Framingham. Claim to fame, only man to fly 100 missions with 8AF was Hewitt Dunn did so with the 390th........

According to Roger Freeman’s The Mighty Eighth you’re spot on with the markings.....390 BG, yellow rudder, right wing yellow angled band, OD anti glare on on inboard side of engines plus in front of canopy. The one item he does show is a red band just behind the nose plexiglass........all pictures are for discussion only.......

Thanks Carl, having a real drive on finishing some kits, the bench can only take so many 95% complete builds.........with the Masterclub you have to be really careful not to snap the locating lugs as the resin is quite fragile, they were on the Male IV .............

Looking good, just trying out a new airbrush set up before starting priming the 10 kits have ready.....what the base sand / yellow you’ve used?? -
Unfortunately there is no attention to detail. Working in architecture, the devil is the detail but not according to the younger generation, they all want to be designers. My favourite saying is “presumably you’re suggesting we use sky hooks to support that” ...........man I am sounding old...........

Brilliant, I know you were hankering after a big Mossie........
