  1. Welcome back to LSM…..
  2. Congrats Rob, loving this build but as some others have you are a very brave man. Looking forward to the next stage and all of her finery……
  3. John, another crisp and clean build. The quality of the finish is something to behold. I look at my 51 on the shelf and makes my NMF look like it was flung on from a cannon. Seeing your build has resolved me into finishing the 51…..what’s next……
  4. Gaz, absolutely stunning, congratulations. If I ever achieve this level of diorama I’ll be well happy. Love the look of the weight of the Panther. I’ve started putting small bags of sand into my tanks so they sit correctly. Again Gaz, stunning….
  5. Hmmm that’s no stash you’ve Photoshopped your cave into the picture ………seriously impressed with 3 Mosquitoes and 5 Corsairs though that’s at least three years building there……
  6. Be careful of eBay check the sellers % rating and also double check the RRP, nine times out ten there will be asking more for it than a store. I’m gathering half tracks at the moment Famo and this one. I’ll probably hit 25 and then pause…….
  7. In preparation for retirement, I thought whilst I am still gainfully employed I’d better bolster the stash level. Been astutely foraging through eBay I’ve found and successfully bid on another gem. At present for the last five eBay purchases I’m averaging 50% RRP and all have been sealed bagged not started kits. The stash level has now reached the dizzying heights of 20….… I know it’s paltry but going to try and grow for the future albeit secondhand……
  8. Looks like a Shimano set on that?
  9. Stunning Rob, bet you feel tired and emotional after that…….
  10. Rob, you nailed this, amazing planking congrats..
  11. Thanks Rob, I cleaned first with IPA and added a couple of drops of Vallejo retarder and then thin coats. All with the relatively cheap H&S Ultra ……
  12. First off welcome to LSM good see new faces and secondly, some very good modelling skills on show here. Looking forward to further updates….
  13. Love the book series title……always remember years ago I went to a model railway exhibition, I think it’s the only one I’ve been to. Two guys actually came to blows over how many rivets there should have been or not in a loco tender that someone had scratch built……..
  14. So first black primer down to see all the mistakes……..I may use this as the bottom colour for the SD. It’s Vallejo black primer…….
  15. Larry, your scratch built 2C is amazing, way above my building skills, please show more of your projects as it’s education and inspiration for everyone. LSM is not the kind of forum to be judgemental unlike a few we know. I use an iPad for all my postings and never had a problem, not sure why there is a problem. I’ll check on my Mac Air later.
  16. That looks very intricate mechanisms, like the factory fresh look….
  17. Part of the b’day spend……..AM for the Famo and trailer…….and my first ever Japanese subject…….it gets write up..
  18. Sorry to hear that Harv, hope you’re on the road to recovery………
  19. Looking at your Sabre makes me want one…….great finish congrats…
  20. Harv, get some that percentage proof mojo kicker down you man……
  21. I feel a new genre in my future……
  22. Thanks for sharing Richard, the ‘stang looks amazing…….
  23. Carl, they knew dad would get it in the neck………thanks for sharing, so want to go to a show………
  24. Another stunner, those Xtracolour paints are very good, the contrast against the decals is stunning…….what’s up next John…….
  25. I also got this last Christmas after doing their Ju88 North Africa, really enjoyed it and I am a convert of ICM. Looking forward to the build…….the mask set would be an idea I think……
