  1. The U S Grant memories were a hard work , I may return to them one day. Moved on to this…
  2. Jeroen, love the magazine touch, reading up on Joe……..
  3. Talk about cursing, Trumpeter F4F-3, closing the fuselage up………
  4. Stunning Gaz, always amazes me at shows there are usually stands with old 70’s 1/72nd kits like Frog but they are packed with people getting very excited. I think 48th is the lowest I’m going……
  5. Rob, this has moved on a lot, the planking looks 3000% better than my attempt. One day I’ll have another go, working 8 hours a day really messes with bench time……
  6. Gaz, absolutely awesome build, looking forward to seeing more. The new acquisition of the Tamiya Famo & Tank Transporter has 12 figures with it…….12, I mean, I struggle at 1 or maybe 2……..
  7. Ahhhhh caught this one early. 1975 I was 15 and watching the legendary Murray Walker commentary on terrestrial TV., halcyon days. This is another genre I’d love to look into, I didn’t realise Tamiya are reissuing their classic kits. Yet another bucket lister……….
  8. Peter, I reckon I’ve been living in a different universe recently, this build passed me by completely. My work / life balance is pretty screwed up at present. The 40 is looking amazing, love the subtle colour differentiation of the engine components. Looking forward to the final reveal……
  9. Thanks Harv, what’s in the box……..something scrumptious I hope..
  10. Thanks Carl much appreciated, it is going to be a long build, the instruction book is 34 pages …..
  11. Birthday just gone, so I’ve been traversing eBay for some bargains leading up to it…..… Panzer I Ausf A , never built one, saying that never seen one in the flesh. This is a tiny AFV…….also never built a half track so another less obvious subject……both of these were under £30.00 each…. and then this has been on my bucket list since it first came. Described in some circles as when Tamiya were at their zenith with AFV subjects. An absolute behemoth, got it at just over half price so may throw some Aber AM at it……….very happy, all contents with all three were still in sealed bags……result..
  12. Looking good Carl, I’m still in two minds if to go for the HK Lanc in 32 or 48. The holy grail would be Borders Lanc but that’s not going to happen this side of nowhere……the IP looks stunning …..
  13. Congratulations, very very envious. Just hit 62 and I am so wanting to pull that bang out ring………
  14. John, as ever silky smooth, look away for a few seconds and pow another one complete, Love the white, congrats, what’s next?
  15. Ok Oliver, I officially retire from this hobby after seeing your WIP……..stunning…..
  16. Looking amazing Rob, also being an engineer. I’ll actually stop during a modelling session and tidy and clean my tools before carrying on. Also hate an untidy workbench………
  17. Eye strain??……
  18. Stunning build Rod, yet again never build a 32nd Axis subject yet….. very tempting….
  19. I use Strava on my bike, it’s good to see segments other people have done and also records the whole years riding..
  20. Congrats Alan, hopefully not anymore stress…….good snag on the VI
  21. Looks great Gus, never done a helo in my life…..
  22. Dirk, welcome to LSM, beautiful build and the weathering is sublime, another master builder joins the happy band………
  23. Thanks Mike, you have to like the look of the Wildcat in what ever form you build it, does anyone do a 32nd Martlet or is it a conversion job?
  24. Thanks Peter, they are pretty thin and tiny….
  25. Welcome to LSM Dick, great to see another UK based modeller here…
