Kevin, I used tape on my ICM Ju 88, use the crepe type and stick two pieces together and then trim, you can stain them with washes, give it a go…… -

Thanks Harv, amazingly this has come together quite quickly. The parts count wasn’t huge anyway but did have and still some PE work to do. Been used to Dragon AFV averaging 300 plus parts…… -
Flawless as ever John…..

Thanks Rob, I do like the AK Camo Putty but I apply it and then spray almost immediately. It does become a homogeneous living creature over time. I also make sure the edges are quite thin so it has produces a more defined line…..

Appreciated Mike, first time doing flaps…. -
So after a fretful day spraying, it did go wrong as usual but I think I’ve retrieved it, this where we sit. All glossed up awaiting decals…….being such a small plane plus the high wing, masking was a nightmare, so from this to this….. the cowl is AK True Metal pastes, brass and gunmetal……

Just had a mini break over Easter, so had some serious benchtime. Rob was right the PE flaps are a pain. Here they completed with some etch primer shot over them. Now working on the gunbays which are a little less fiddly. Done a lot of cutting and carving for all the new PE but I think I’m there. Fuselage is together and tail after a lot of JohnB cuss words…….hmmm Trumpeter ……the fitting of the wings is gong to interesting as there is no real estate to glue to…..some in progress shots….. -
Carl, this build almost passed me by, stunning build. Having built the Ju 88 ( I owe you guys some pics of it) I also well recommend ICM. I’ve never built a helo of any sort and this may just push me…..
