2nd Annual LSM Christmas raffle and winners list
Sir Desmond Glazebrook replied to Clunkmeister's topic in General Discussion
Yours was the tank, wasn't it? Nice looking model. -
The weather here in Sydney is a bit harsh. As a result I have not been working as much on my builds. Today I applied the last decals to the Frank. It is sitting perfectly still while Mark setter and softer work their magic. Today I will not be busy. There's a climate change rally in the city today. We're I strong enough to walk a long way I'd join in. I would like to go into town to Hobbyco in the Queen Victoria building. I can circumvent the March by taking the train.i want to get away from my builds so I don't succumb to the desire to handle them. Here is where Tony is at present. I need to lighten the darker greens in the panel lines. What you see is by using the new AK Weathering pencils. They are great fun but must be handled lightly or they break. My stupid numb hands are too rough!

Awesome. I would like to have a RAN Skyhawk. -
As an example, I would choose a Dassault Rafale to match as a beautiful woman. A Convair Delta Dart would remind me of a very good fridge. There is no correct answer. This is just a bit of fun. Dassault Mirage 2000 = Gorgeous, graceful female who demands attention and responds in kind. Junkers Ju 52 = fine cattle dog who responds to commands. Your choices?

I hope it gets to you soon. -
The G4N had the nickname Zippo, because it was a fire trap. My stash of Japanese aircraft is quite large. I have all the Hasegawa 1/72 scale bombers. I have most of Hasegawa 1/48 plus all Hasegawa1/32. I nearly have all the Fine molds 1/48, plus Tamiya 48 and 32. No Gekko as yet. The newer Hasegawa kits have weighted tyres, which is very cool. The 72 Nell is gorgeous. I don't have the Wingsy Ki-55. I have the older Nichico and have French markings for it.

This arrived yesterday. -
I have a large female huntsman spider living with me. I call her Deborah. I was just looking at her. And she at me. We exist in perfect harmony. A couple of years ago I chased a large cockroach under my bed. Hitting my head in the process. I attempted to kill the cockroach. I failed. It ran under my bed. Following my failure, I sat down on my bed to reorient myself. I looked at my bare foot. Standing by my foot I spied a spider attempting communication. I understood, lifted my blanket and off went the spider in pursuit of the roach. Animals are smarter than we think. That is my only spider anecdote.

Great news! Very inspiring. -
Terry Jones of Monty Python passed away. I know he has been ill. I saw Michael Palin last year and he spoke of Terry being ill. I have loved Monty Python since I was a wee lad and I have always looked up to, and been inspired by them. This is very sad news

John, your work up to now is lovely. Perhaps build a nice Hasegawa kit along with Ernie? With your skills you'll kill it. -

It is called an "up sell". Heard in a local shop, "always try to up sell the punters".
