  1. Yeah mate, me too. Okay, earlier I got down on myself. Screw that. If I screwed up this model I will build another. I emailed Hasegawa regarding the issue. They may or may not get back to me. I live in a model shop so am spoiled for choice.
  2. TANKS!!!! Sorry, I don't mean to yell. But tanks are enough to make anyone in their path scream. Look: TANKS!!!! "Arghhhhhh.....!" See what I mean? So, what is or was the meanest, most aggressively jaw dropping tank in history?
  3. Oh gawd. All I need do is read the title to confirm it relates to me! I have but one mirror. It is small enough to only show my ugly mug!
  4. I have left a question on the Hasegawa site. Until I can verify this question, this build is on hold. Bugger it!
  5. I am very concerned with the horizontal stabilizers. Why has Hasegawa made both the 1/32 & 1/48 scale Frank's like this????? Hasegawa is usually good, especially with regard to Japanese aircraft. I keep studying photos and those stabilizers look level!!!! I don't know what to do????
  6. I finally got back to work and built painted and began weathering the drop tanks. The first 2 hours were spent trying to clean my Custom Micron airbrush. Great tool but it is finicky. After 2 hours it still needs work. So I placed it aside and used my Silverline airbrush instead. I have only just begun weathering and intend to do more tomorrow. I also used a new GSI matte clear and it is beautiful.
  7. Thanks Gav. I had the same problem and assumed it was just me. I will empty the contents and use the jar for other things. Thanks mate.
  8. I was able to bag several great deals on Xmas eve and then the following week. Here is what I got. Airfix Victor. $39.00. Meteor $29.99. P-70 $29.99. Nesher $29.99. Skyraider $29.99. Hunter $33.99. (I also have the Airfix Hunter. I can now build a 6 & 9.) I have AM for each Hunter. Re-boxing of the fine Hasegawa P-51, $27.49. It is not the Eduard or Tamiya, but it is still a nice model. Re-boxing of the great Dragon 262 night fighter $27.49. I was going to buy the Gaspatch version on the Hs-123, but at $22.49 I settled on this. And it is a nice kit, and I have decals and ip for a Chinese bird. Got this or 1/2 price. I bought the AM separately. This was a pre-order from Japan I bought months ago that arrived 23 December. I got it just over 1/2 retail. All the rest were 20% off retail.
  9. Hi mate. Is it like this stuff?
  10. Three more contenders. Embraer Kc-390/Antonov An-178. Yak 130. Tupolev Tu-160.
  11. "As soon as I saw the Sabre I instinctively knew I was looking at the Spitfire of the jet age." Eric "Winkle" Brown. F-86.
  12. Happy birthday.
  13. Oh no. Too young. Rest in peace. My condolences.
  14. Here are my airbrushes. I no longer own the Sparmax. As you can see I have a few very good airbrushes. I lean toward H&S, but love my Iwatas as well. However if I had a strict budget, I would get the Badger Sotar. My reason is easy use, ability to spray very thin lines as well as large. It holds up nicely to the Iwatas H&S at a fraction of the price.
  15. Happy New year.
