  1. Ha! About time!!! You know I am following. Brilliant!
  2. It takes a certain kind of character to expand one's technique and growth. I sometimes tell a music student "Don't worry where in music you exist. How many people actively try to improve themselves each day? Less than one may imagine. So take heart, trust yourself and move forward. One only competes with oneself." Me, Dale, I am always in awe when I see or meet an individual for whom I admire. I have known some who feel jealousy. Happily I take the inspiration. I am inspired. And that is a wonderful thing. All of you wonderful modellers I see here and elsewhere. My sincere and enduring respect. You inspire me. For that I am grateful.
  3. Thanks so much guys. This morning I stripped the Brown from the Frank due to a weathering experiment going awry. For days I have been rubbing the paintwork back and reapplying the green on the Tony. This evening I will set about weathering it. I need to re-scribe one belly line on the Tony. I had rescrcribbed it but obviously not enough. The Frank now has a newer better Brown but was wet when I took these. Happily it is raining. Hopefully for many weeks.
  4. Hi guys. Are wet transfers simply decals, or something different?
  5. I have seen green holders in photos here. Anyone know what they are?
  6. I avoided this situation 48 years ago. I was 7 or 8 years old. My family had issues and I was watching Frank Sinatra in a midday movie. Frank was a bachelor and was having great fun. At that moment I made a lifetime decision, "I will never marry!" I The secret to happiness is never marry.
  7. I spoke too soon. There I was screwing up my Frank when the phone rang I was booked for 3 hours! I have Wednesday. Oh and Smitty I meant any day free from responsibilities.
  8. The title question is the question. As for me, I awoke thinking it yesterday and I was late for my session and nearly ordered an Uber. I had already begin working on my build when suddenly, "hang on, it's Tuesday!" Ah that blessed feeling of having nothing I must do, nowhere to be, nobody to answer to, and I can sit and play my hobby. Bliss! How do you feel?
  9. Gus, if you are unable to get them in your area, let me know and I'll grab some and send them to you.
  10. Sorry to learn of your mate. Yes indeed we need great models of all mentioned. I have never built a vac form....... Interesting.
  11. Hi Gus. Good question, but first! Your corsair is utterly gorgeous. Were I to see it with a background I'd think it real. Yes, they begin course and get fine up to 10,000 grade. They are very comfortable to use both wet and dry.
  12. This is brilliant! I have been looking at photos of the Hellenic A-7's. Your models looks real, and really good. Fantastic model.
  13. Thanks mate. I began on the Frank 6.30 am. Worked until 9.30. Drumming now.
  14. I am really looking forward to your build, Hubert. Your post regarding copyright problems was very interesting indeed.
