  1. So, Ern... What happened with the Taube? Gaz
  2. Yellow is such a hard color to get right. But it is a great build. I don't quantify my builds. I just live with the daily admission that I haven't spent as much time on models as I'd wished. there is always something pulling me away. A task to complete. Leaves in the pool... Steaks to grill... that damn full-time job. ...I only wish I had the excuse of a hot mistress that kept me from my styrene mistress... Image for discussion only.
  3. Martin, While that is an interesting and odd subject, one has to know the market. If Peter is looking for retro Porn, I'm sure this would float (or sink) his boat: Gaz
  4. Hi Everyone, Got her ready for paint. I'll do the hatches, spares, and schürzen later. Thanks fer looking! Gaz
  5. The wing spar stub is admirable. But that foggy glass... oh, it kills me to look at it.
  6. I got Radu's Rivet-r last year. Nice piece of gear.
  7. Well, Peter... The first thing all new computers need is porn! Aircraft Porn!! I even added some of those Grummans for the discerning gentleman. Images for discussion only. Gaz
  8. I have that kit and a shitload of AM for it. It's my own hyper-detailing project. And yes... I do have replacement Beulen. Gaz Durotuss will take care of that cough, mate... Chemist opens up in half an hour...lol
  9. ...is big bro. Need a bigga plane to carry 4-MG 151 und 2- MK 108 (or is it 103?). Schrage Müsik? Add two MG FF. Looking good!
  10. I can't believe those clear parts... what a kick in the balls. I believe that AM should be for super-detailing or for making thin parts that plastic cannot duplicate. Not for replacing shitty workmanship. Sorry for the language. But there is just no excuse for that. Gaz
  11. Jeff, Commiserations, mate. Gaz
  12. Peter, you have a great talent for metallic paints. Whereas I have a great ability to make expensive metallic paints look like grainy gray paint. I envy you, yet still love sculpting foil. I ruined a Monogram P-38 with silver Pactra or Testors paint when I was a kid. On that day I decided I'd never try to paint NMF again. Then... I discovered foil. Despite my Luftweenie-ness, this kit has pride-of-place at my house. I walk by it many times every day and gaze at it lovingly as I pass. Camo just can't compare for eye-catchy-ness... Ooh, that would be a bad habit to be in. But I seem to know many modellers who start and never finish. Maybe someone needs to create a support group. Happy Holidays Everyone! Gaz
  13. Ern, I'm generally a Luftwaffe guy... But the 100 series makes me feel the need.... The need for ..................................FOIL! Photo for discussion and Ernie's motivation only. Gaz
  14. Last I had heard, many ppl in Christchurch were still living in houses that had been made and declared unlivable since the big quake a few years ago. Supposedly property values in the area have plummeted. I don't know whether they've bounced back since, or not. Before the quake I had this joke about a fictitious quake in NZ... but due to the deaths in the Christchurch quake, I've been remiss to tell it anymore. Gaz
  15. I'd be more worried about seismic events... than about The Eye of Sauron.
  16. Awesome figs! But those tracks... OMG. Watching other guys build Bronco, I've decided not to buy anything they make. Just too much for me.
  17. Welcome David! If you click on the home tab that takes you to the list of forums. Scrolling down you'll find 'LSM in progress' and a little further down you'll find 'LSM Armour Finished work' Happy modelling! Gaz
  18. And Happy Holidays to you, Ivan!
