  1. Look forward to seeing another Mosquito getting built. I've done one Tamiya so far and have 2 more in the stash to get to. How is the Red Fox IP set?
  2. I just glued the second set of tracks on and compared to the first set, they went on much better. The turret is up next and then paint. Next to the Panzer III I finished last week for a size comparison.
  3. I got the tracks for the E-100 assembled and painted. Fur came to supervise the paint job. First side is on. The tracks go together easily enough but also fall apart almost as easily. Made it a right pain to get it on.
  4. The Citroen is a lovely car. There's one nearby that I see during the summer. The big Dakar rally trucks are impressive too. Still can't believe they'd race them. Thanks for sharing all the pics.
  5. The yellow stripes really stand out nicely. Along with the white sections, they add some colour to the model.
  6. That looks delicious. I need to try smoking fish on our Egg one day. I love fresh tuna, seared and sliced thin is just awesome.
  7. 8 in the morning on a slightly damp Sunday. Time to throw something on the BBQ. 9 lbs of hopefully tasty brisket this evening.
  8. I just did the same with Tamiya airbrush cleaner. It's gone up a bit but Great Hobbies has a flash sale and it's $8.49 a bottle CAD until tomorrow. Which is what, $5-6 USD? Basically almost all Tamiya is 15% off until then.
  9. Oh yeah, the minute I sit down I get prodded to pick her up. Thankfully at the moment her claws are short so they're not pricking me when she does that.
  10. More work at clearing some stuff off the bench. This time it's the Amusing Hobby E-100 tank. I did a quick mod so that side skirts are removable. Should make it easier to get the tracks on.
  11. Looks great Ernie. The gloss coat definitely seems to have solved the decal issue.
  12. Like Phil said, this build is progressing nicely.
  13. Thanks Bill. I knew about the fuselage issues but not the wing ones. They are fairly inexpensive so I might take the plunge.
  14. How are you finding the kit? It's one I've been interested in getting for some reason.
  15. Thanks Phil! Don't forget a gun barrel too. Well, I'm calling it done. Actually a fun kit to do. Not too complicated.
  16. Scammell? Oh, yeah the Scammell. I need to get back to that at some point. Thankfully I'm calling this one done.
  17. A recent kit release. LZ Models had a pre-order bonus of a resin driver and tires so I picked it up from them. The box got a bit smushed but the plastic is all good.
  18. A bit more done on the latest squirrel.
  19. Great start Peter. I think the ZM Skyraider was the first kit I built from them. For the wing fold, there is an update on the website to the instructions. I don't recall if I followed it or not, but did end up with working folding wings that actually worked like they're supposed to.
  20. Things have definitely come a long way.
  21. If the one from the old Revell kit would work, let me know and I'll drop it in the post for you.
  22. Martin, thanks for sharing the additional pics. The countryside looks beautiful. All the best to your family.
  23. Some absolutely stunning models and dioramas. Thanks for sharing Martin.
  24. With your skills John, i don't think you'd get better results with the Quinta set.
