That's the way my bench looks normally. -

Ok, I added some more weathering and finished the stowage bits so she's all done. I might try doing some crew figures up in a bit. We'll see. -

They're from a Legend set for the Firefly. I had them around so figured I might as well use them. -

A bit more... I've started on some spare track links for the front since it wouldn't be a British Sherman without some. Although the Canadians seem to be the ones who really took mounting extra tracks to a while new level. -
Well I've got a new Master pitot coming from Australia so when it gets here, I'll be able to finish this one. Meantime, it's back to the Sherman.

Here's a start... -
I'm watching this one.

They have a Yellow doped linen listed as TCP-1254. It's under the British Flying Corp section. It's definitely not the easiest site to navigate. But it looks like 1to1 found exactly what you're looking for. Carl

I'd say that's probably correct. It does have a lacquer smell to it. The LHS recommended either Tamiya lacquer thinner or Mr Color Leveling thinner so that's what I used. I found it sprays very similar to Mr Color. The pigment is fine, not as coarse as what you see in Tamiya acrylics. I haven't tried brushing them either.

Tony, have you checked out Tru-Color Paints? My LHS stocks them for their WWI colors. They're out of Arizona too. http://trucolorpaint.com/ I'm currently using their Metallic silver on a build and so far I like the way it sprays. I'm using Mr Leveling Thinner on it. Carl

It does look a bit too factory fresh doesn't it? Ok, maybe a bit of dirt once I get the decals on. -

I don't have the DeAgostini Falcon but I do have the Bandai one. Or should I say ones. Hope one of you guys does a build thread. Either of you get the Paragrafix or Falcon 3D bits for them? Carl -

There is so much variety on the bench these days. That's great. -

Ok, like Martin I'm back from vacation. So I finally made it back to the bench and promptly sprayed some green paint. I need to do the tools and hatches next. But it's back on the bench. -

Maybe leave it out if it can't be seen? -
You'll like it. It goes together really well. Well, except for maybe the track links as I ended up using different ones.

Nice car Harv! I like the white too. Must be the Asian in me. Carl

Just got back from driving to Wisconsin to visit my sister and her family in our 2009 Honda Fit. We did a total of 2700km of driving, mostly at 120km/h except for an hour in Ontario at 130 which was the pace of traffic. We Ontarians love to speed... With the four of us, a roof box and 2 bikes on the rear rack we managed 6.6l/100km or 35.64 mpg according to Martin's chart. Can't complain about that. Although I may want a slightly bigger car next time we do a road trip. Carl
