  1. Rob, you can get their primer in bottles. The grey is available too. Hopefully those won't be banned from being shipped to you. Carl
  2. Funny enough, just picked up an Eduard E-4 Profipack today for 40 Loonies (about $30 USD). Saw it sitting there and decided the price was decent so I grabbed it. Carl
  3. Thanks! Now to try and make space on the bench.
  4. Thanks Peter! Thanks Rod! If you don't have the kit, Revell is reissuing it shortly. Hopefully they fix the instructions when they do.
  5. A couple more: In case anyone is wondering, this is the CWHM Mynarski Lancaster. She was on jack stands so no one was allowed on board unfortunately. They're getting her ready for the upcoming flying season. Carl
  6. Ernie, here's some inspiration for you: Whoops, wrong subject. Let's try again: Ok, third time's the charm Carl
  7. Great progress Ernie. The Merlin look to be an improvement on the ones from their Mossie kits. Any plans to leave a cowl cover open/removable? Carl
  8. Three Robots was great, I'm trying to see if my wife will watch it as sci-fi isn't her usual cup of tea. I also really liked the first one, Sonnies Edge. Carl
  9. Hpayy birthday Gaz! Sorry I'm late to the party. Carl
  10. Glad to hear some things are getting ruled out. So who's going to be first to post the Schwarzenegger meme of "It's not a tumor!" Carl
  11. Well, you came pretty close as it's a Gotha alright. But at least it's a different version/variant. Carl
  12. Yes, sadly he's still around giving Canadians a bad name.
  13. Got a haircut today. I no longer like one of the Beatles or worse, Justin Bieber. I think my bike helmet will fit as a result too. Carl
  14. Thanks Martin! Those pics make a lot more sense of things.
  15. Nice sign there Harv! Isn't it great when the spouse supports our hobbies and interests? Carl
  16. My mom bought a new 2018 Civic hatch at the end of last year. She had two big wants on her wish list: 1) It must have a key to turn to start. When the saleswoman said they only had the base model left in stock but it had an ignition key, my mom that was perfectly fine with her. 2) It needs to have a CD player. Not as big a deal as #1, and when the saleswoman sat down and showed my mom how to use her Iphone 8 for all her music instead the deal was closed. Jeff, I've been using some of the Autoglym stuff myself over the last couple of years. It does seem to do a nice job. They've also got some products other companies don't seem to offer which is nice. When it comes to electric cars, we're still a bit on the fence. 90% of our driving is less than 15km each way and a further 5% is within 120km. On top of that, we drive maybe 9,000km a year. We even have 220v in our garage for a fast charger. So they're a very viable option for us. But, this is Canada and there's this weather phenomena called winter that happens for half the year. The cold kills the range on batteries, especially if you want to be warm in your car. Most of these range tests are done in warm places. I've only read one testdrive/review that was done in winter in Canada. The range was roughly half what the optimal distance is. So I think we may be waiting a bit longer. Carl
  17. Man, I have a love/hate relationship with doctors so something like this just adds to the wrong side of the ledger. Sorry to hear you're still waiting for something more definitive but at least your doc seems to be on your side. Hang in and here's looking forward to a delayed but positive answer. Carl
  18. Thanks for all the tips and advice on this build Jim. You really do make it look like a walk in the park. Carl
  19. I'll make sure to post something once they start on them.
  20. I think I've got the youngest interested. He was upset he couldn't pick up a kit at the hobby shop the last time we were there. I told him to finish one of the kits he'd already started first. I know I was irresponsible since how else is he supposed to build a stash up.
  21. Great progress Harv! Reminds me of a Meccano set on its legs like that. Carl
  22. Thanks! It's my second try at a NMF finish in 1/32. The first one isn't finished yet... Thanks Ryan. I'm using Gunze Mr Metal Color chrome silver. So far, I'm much happier with this, at least on the B-25. The coverage is much better compared to the Alclad.
  23. Well, looks like I'm going to have less space on my bench as the Mossies from Martin have arrived. The boys were helping me in the kitchen after school today so they'll get them tomorrow and then the plastic can start to fly! Thanks again Martin for the great gift. Carl
  24. I was wondering about that. The instructions just show one buckle just right against the seat so thanks for the heads up.
