Apparently it only existed as a prototype. But it would look nice next to a floatplane Spitfire. -

Resin, PE, and white metal if it's like the other MFH kits. -
Great to hear it's off Harv!

"Splash the Zeros!" (1:144 scale F-14A Tomcat, VF-84 #203)

Great job on such a small model. It's much better detailed than the 1/144 models I remember. A couple of us on here recently did a couple Final Countdown Tomcats in 1/32. @ScottsGT did one using the Revell kit and I did one with the Tamiya. -

Something I haven't seen before. Apparently it's only available at Duty Free shops. My parents brought it back from Taiwan for me.

And what might that be? A Trumpeter 1/32 Mig-15?

Harv, we're all cheering for the day you're back at the bench.

Looks great. Just need to wait for the rest of the model. Or maybe they could do it as a part work and every month we get a new section. -

Oddly enough, I like the look of this one over the more typical version. -

The rack looks great Ron. Nice touch. -
You guys should go for it. I could join in with the Achilles when it arrives...

The weather is changing here too. Looks like summer is finally over and fall has arrived a month late. I've got to get the Beat ready for storage as well.

There's a very traditional Chinese dish called braised pork in red sauce. The sauce is soy sauce, rock sugar, ginger and star anise. My parents make it all the time. I've never made it before but decided to give it a shot. So one 9 lb pork shoulder, and the other other ingredients went into a pot last night... This morning, it looked and smelled the way I expected it to. Trying to pick it up, the bone fell out so I decided to do something with it I've always wanted to. I made it into pulled pork. So Chinese style pulled pork tacos for dinner tonight! Talk about fusion cooking... -
The Godhand nippers are supposed to be among the best. I've got the Despaie ones arnd have found them to be very good. I also have a couple pairs of the Trumpeter ones. The first pair worked really well, a perfect absolutely flush cut. Then I dropped them and broke the blade. The second needed a slight adjustment to the setscrew and are about 95% as good as the first pair.

It seems car repairs of any sort these days require an engineering degree with a minor in electrical systems and maybe job experience as a law clerk.

It's odd about the Barracuda nose. I mentioned it before but I think Roy has two different moulds for it. I have two of them. One fits so much better than the second one. It's almost a drop fit, while the other will need a lot more work to make it fit, like yours. -
John, you are just cranking the kits out. I don't think I can open the threads fast enough to keep up with what you've got on the go. Well done.
