  1. That is a Beautiful Build Sir!! Robin Olds was quite the character to think he served Flying in three separate conflicts over 20+ years is a feat in itself.I have always thought I would like to model a plane of his from each conflict.Really Nice!!
  2. A Nice looking Crate with the right touch of abuse.
  3. What a beautiful representation of an Albatross it Really Works!!If I could be 50% of most you builders here I be content I am really a builder.Keeping an eye on your 109
  4. Peter thinking this is looking pretty damn good Sir keep hacking at it!! and Martin that vid got me lost for 1/2hr on YT looking at others as well some of the CGI just blows your mind.
  5. I P/U the early Tiger with full interior looks a beast of a model I don't do much in vehicles but they do make a nice diversion.I will be watching to see how a RFM goes together.
  6. I was thinking the same thing but I have it on good advice they are the interior color the fella is the same he is working the restoration of a Mossie in Canada. Kevin
  7. Just very poor in part placement Nice kit extra research was required. This kits instructions on the gear sent me to the books for the tubing forward of the main legs then one part did not look the same at all to what was pictured I give these instructions a B-. Kevin
  8. Not alot to show just sub-assemblies I also have the engines painted black only ATTM.The straps on the tanks black/silver?This is one tight fitting kit so much almost scares you and you have to look at the instructions more than twice been lucky to back out more than once.Have you ever heard the story of the Dragon instructions for the Scharnhorst..............?
  9. Fantastic Work Rowdy!! I get all chicken like when it comes to weathering Kevin
  10. Nice attention to detail would of never crossed my feeble mind Kevin
  11. Pete you definitely have a Nice skill set!! Looking forward to the final touches. Kevin
  12. It's amazing how you guys get it to look like real wood
  13. Thanks Kai but I need not have worried about the MK IX bombsight I was wondering why it was still present a member on another board informed me it would of been removed. The bombsight does make the front office look complete the pit is in the housing and the tail was assembled last night to which the gear around the tailwheel........?The instructions could still need a little more work or I am to simple of a man Kevin
  14. The copit is basically finished I did make the frames for the back of the seat on the radio operator.I just took some .020" square stryene put needle nose to the stryene and channel locks to the needle nose and got a flat spot then cut the angles to the back of the seat worked well.I am not reaL fond of the pilots belts but think the radio seat looks a little more animated. The bomb sight was the last thing I did tonight it was testing the patience. The whole copit tub slides on rails into the forward fuse area snug as a bug. Kevin
  15. Seeing a Nice build here and it's pushing me towards the ZM KI-45 the engineering looks really great. Kevin
  16. Well got something done scratch and mods really slow me down hence the reason for most builds as OOB.I was informed by a member on another board no cushions on the pilot seat seeing they sat on there parachutes so I decided to remove them all went better than anticipated. He also stated the stand was good possibility he actually is working on a rebuild of one in Canada.I am now working on the L/side of the pit with that tricky little quadrant box un-hun once I get the fuse buttoned up should go a little quicker till I get to an engine. Kevin
  17. I have in the last couple of years started adding to the that wing Phil.Thks for looking in . Kevin
