  1. Well lets see if this works .........? It works tap the pic enough it will allow full pixel my new GIMP is different than the old one this is a new puter a monster my son built some years back.
  2. Do-17 Peter I used the badge of the Ju-88 to add a little flash to the crate but yeah I stoked about this one coming out better than anticipated.
  3. Thks Guys the canopy is not glued yet see if I can get a pic inside the pit it really is one of Revells better bombers.
  4. I did that one also never got quite done was so close it was on top of the TV and my older brother opened a sheet snagged a mast and down she came.
  5. Thanks Harv I was beginning to think the Russkie stuff was not your gig I have a couple planes that I feel that way about.I posted a pic of my Do-17 in 1/48 one of the Nicest interiors I have ever built from Revell in 1/48.
  6. Finally snap some pics of the last few months of work in the office/shop.I never added the hydraulic lines to the gear the main gear doors needed some significant shaving to fit and like Peter's build the WW's were a PIA but it took a couple tries to figure the stuff out but she stands.
  7. This has been a long project for me going on a couple of years. The plastic part of course was easy but I ordered rigging blocks of wood from "His Models" overseas along with the wooden deck. The deck went down easy enough but you have to rig the rope/steel around the blocks I figured being the 1860's steel blocks rigging/straps would of been pretty common.I evidently developed a system for this process and commenced to rigging some 100+ blocks(not all will be used) still have more to attack to the foremast then to the main mast.Once the planes burn me out again back to this one will commence.
  8. Getting close to the finish line on this one the badge is is mt my artistic license it's a 1/72 JU-88 badge the plane just screamed for more I had nine decals all together from Revell.I used Eduard mask for the glass what a life saver I hate doing that otherwise. She's of go size in 1/48 kinda be nice to see one in 1/32?
  9. Two quick builds first 1/72 probably in a year and the Lagg was sent to me from a friend in Poland on an exchange of kits really a nice kit. The Russian crates like the Germans was a white wash over camo in this case a black base.
  10. Just Life and Work one trying to stop some guys from robbing a store and a 6" drop bar (10/12lbs) at work came off a shelf and clipped the head blood exploded like a pumpkin! The Doc mentioned my head must of not been on the floor I thought said "NO" shoulder was on the floor said I was Lucky or skull been crushed.I figure Peter the yokels out there that never had one I took it for them
  11. That's what I saw John thought it might of been mya dyslexia all good.
  12. When I was doing the Yak-3 the WW were a PIA also I glued the first side together check fit sucked! applied more glue disassembled and got it 90/95% there.I give it a break Peter don't ditch think on it find the solution and resolve that's what we are good at.I had a doctor say I had a very abstract way of thinking when I solved this puzzle in away that know one else had,the nurse had to ask is this acceptable?YES!It was after one of my seven concussions I have had head has been bloodied twice but skull intact part Neanderthal methinks?
  13. This is mov'in John when you guys say HK =Hong Kong ? did not know they did one.KH Kitty Hawk!!
  14. I P/U the Revell of this kit in the last year Peter looks like it should build up well.
  15. Watching John first one for me.
  16. Ernie that's about to happen to us here in Biloxi in the next 4 weeks with the "Crusin the Coast" I have worked Auto retail most of my life along with about seven years in a machine shop rebuilding motors,Heads was my main job.I have to dig for the numbers but think it was 7/9K Registered last year it's like Mardi Gras people throw out lawn chairs on Hwy90 and watch the HR's go.I have to say every car that registers represents a minimum of two people we probably see 20/30k extra pop. that week it's frigg'in Nuts. https://cruisinthecoast.com/schedule/
  17. Looking Real good Peter and yeah stuck in 1/48th ATTM myself been enjoyable though.

  19. John when I was looking back maybe 10 years ago a decent M2 was going $5-7K I thinking probably 8-10K now? I have not looked really I only need a couple more parts for the other ..........
  20. So I had CV-19 back in March 2020 pneumonia for 5 weeks first time in 50 years and then started moving into the second lung they gave me an antibiotic just for pneumonia killed it in a week. The day that Ida was moving that Saturday I was diagnosed the 2nd time had 101.5' fever aching back really a mild flu!The Doc asked if I wanted the infusion turned it down shot me with steroids,5 days of cortisol and Zinc. The fever broke Saturday night and the sore throat was gone by Sunday night all over in 48 hrs.It was the BEST Frigg'in Vacation I have had in a decade 10days off no work no honey do's.I finished the SP. Hobby kit, finished 1/48 ICM Lagg, worked on the 1/56 Revell Blockade Runner and Started a really Nice Revell Do-17E4 most excellent kit highly recommend.I am back at work now I am pulling 8 days straight 9 hrs a day paid but it's cool I relaxed like I have not in years.
  21.
