  1. Thats a beauty Rob.
  2. This is one of Tamiya's finest according to he reviews I've seen . Uncle Nightshift built one last year. Will be glad to hear your take on it , as i don't do Russian armour , so maybe a good reason to give this one a go !
  3. Bought a Gaahleri airbursh . A lot of positive reviews of these 50 buck airbrushes on the web. Having graduated form cheapo Chinese airbrushes to IWATAS some years ago , I'll be interested to see how this performs . Two sizes of cup , .35 and .50 needle , spare seals , a unique air nozzle design, & comes with quick release connect . Feels heavy and quality, and I can use my small paint cup from an Iwata if I don't fancy their larger ones. Even some lube for the weekend !! Interesting Warrantee - if any of it fails they just ship you a new one . For the price, I reckoned it was worth a shot .
  4. She had eaten the other two presenters at this point ....thats why Ashley looks scared

  8. He he , if we are doing show and tell - this is my Bendix Compass, my Grandfather (Royal Navy) "liberated it" from a written off PBM Mariner some time late 1944 . Been in the family ever since.
  9. How low over my house???? ....Barnes Wallis low ! Altogether ...dum dum dum , da dee dee dum , da ....
  10. Looks 130 years beyond the old Italeri kit ! almost as many parts as the real thing . Thanks for the review , I'm tempted by this one .
  11. Terrible news , wishing for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery . All the best to you Harv
  12. Nice one Tom , I remember gazing with envy at a pal of mines 1/24 109 whilst round his house circa 1978 , the rubber tyres being particularly noteworthy.
  13. I'm pretty sure Oxfordshire UK has a lot gentler climate than Texas or Mississippi, mind you we are being hit with all time high gas bills thanks to Poohtin .
  14. Love it , what an interesting subject.
  15. 150 sq metres , 1960's built , £100 per month ish . Work from home , heat with gas , fans not aircon
  16. Keep swiping right .
  17. I would imagine that is lot of it, also why Revell won't include swastikas. I wonder how the hammer & sickles are bearing up , as Stalin murdered more than Hitler in the same time period . He ho , pandering mode on. Oddly , my neighbours are ok with me hanging out the flags on Party Day and Fuhrergeburtstag but that may say more about the home counties than we'd like to admit ? Ps that Dornier is drop dead gorgeous
  18. I've posted Finnish aricraft on Facebook , also 109 and 190 with national insignia.
  19. That’s a very nice jug , subtle weathering . A good recovery from the SOD !
