  1. Forgot you had a baby Tony, that's a total nightmare with no power. Best wishes.
  2. Apologies posted this before I noticed the other thread in the site announcements forum. Mods please remove if you feel it's appropriate
  3. Great to see you back Peter and wishing you a speedy recovery.
  4. Just to say, great to see you back on here Peter and please post some of the work you're doing on the Sufa.
  5. Never had any luck with actual hairspray but the Ammo chipping and scratches effects fluids work very nicely. On bigger airframes like the 1/24 Typhoon I'm doing at the moment liquid frisket applied with a sponge or cocktail stick works great for biggish areas like the wear on the leading edges of the wings.
  6. Get well soon Harv. Ernie please pass on our best wishes and thoughts to him and Bev.
  7. Glad to see we're not the only ones getting exceptionally cold weather. We had -23C last week not too far from us overnight and it didn't get above -6C all day. Really nice powder snow which would be excellent for skiing except for the lockdown! It didn't get above freezing for 6 days then sudden jump to 7C today so we now have a soggy, slushy flooded mess. Our dogs love the snow despite being Jack Russells, so a bit lacking in the leg department for deep snow. They just plough through it but at least being short haired it doesn't stick to them. Hope it warms up for you soon Tony but looking at the forecast I'm not sure that's coming soon.
  8. I only made double figures 4 times in my career and remember vividly getting clapped the first time it happened. Did once have a run of 5 completed innings where I only faced 4 balls. One run out without facing!
  9. Glue sniffing Gaz? Was a popular pastime here in Scotland in the 80s - did wonders for sales of UHU
  10. That's a bummer Brad as that's a decent run of form. You've almost made my career total in 4 innings - in 300+ games I made a grand total of 247 runs! Guess what number I batted at? Would have been 12 if I could have. Did take 500+ wickets so did contribute something. Just watched them chucking the spectators out at the tennis which shows how sudden this must have been. At least your government acts quickly, ours announces stuff then does bugger all for weeks before finally getting round to implementing it.
  11. WTF? My son uses Steam a lot but I can't see this being high on his priority list. Aimed at a different demographic I suspect!
  12. I have their M911 CHET kit Mark and it's great, goes together very well. I hope that's the same.
  13. The interior details just take this to another level. Absolutely stunning! The paintwork on the crew uniforms is just exquisite.
  14. Great work Mike. That'll be a real showstopper once it's all panted.
  15. Don't feel bad Phil, I can't count mine on the fingers of one hand! Tend not to buy unless it's going to get built soon.
  16. Thanks for the details Jeroen. Given the price seems similar to Friuls they do seem a better bet.
  17. Wow, that's seriously cool Mark. That's going to take up a lot of room somewhere.
  18. Found a few with a search on eBay but they seem similar in price to Friuls, ie £30+ a set. They do look to be better finished than the Friuls in the pictures but that may be a false impression.
  19. Think I'd probably go with the F15C I did from Operation Mole Cricket over the Bekaa Valley in 1982. It has a size to it that makes it seem more impressive than it is.
  20. Great improvisation again Rich. Hate using metal that thin, too blooming sharp!
  21. If that's the free gift that comes with it, then I might think about it.....
