  1. Wow... Thanks a million... For the pics and the compliment about the site. It took some elbow grease but it was worth it! New features keep surprising me on a daily basis. I really hope Rick can shed some light on the wings this week. Thanks again. Here's a pic of some detail work taken directly from one of your shots! (Needs some washes etc to blend the wiring in).
  2. Cool! (even though I don't think I'll add them to the build. Neither will i include the spinner and prop... I hope Rick can send me some intel on the upper wing surfaces. Long shot, but... do you by any chance got a chance to shoot those?
  3. Aviattic has a bit of elastic quality so don't pull the backing paper too hard when applying. Just take your time. Also: I would not touch the lozenge with Micro sol until the whole decal is in position. If you know what i mean.
  4. That oxygen apparatus looks the part! Very nice work so far. One small detail if i may: with a worn weathered interior I would weather and wrinkle the seatbelts a bit more too.
  5. On a roll now!! After the washes I'll add a satin coat followed by pencil weathering with light green, white and silver.
  6. Saweet! That cockpit is sweet! Could have fooled me into thinking it was 32nd scale.
  7. After Rick sends me some intel I'll know what to do. This is only the first original Luftwaffe layer. At least two layers to follow including markings.
  8. Sweet! For a 72nd scale kit that cockpit is amazing...
  9. Welcome Darren! Feel at home and post away!!
  10. Come to think of it. I have lost important parts before and started to scratch build them, only to find them when almost being done with the selfmade replacement. It's like starting an expensive and complex resin kit of a subject is asking for Revell to bring it on the market!!
  11. Believe it or not but I managed to misplace the Fw-190D9 wings of a Trumpeter 1:24 kit!! Never found m again. Yes. I suspect the missus.
  12. More green shades (RLM83) and faint presence of english insignia.
  13. Cheers guys! Here's the canopy. Needs some more scratching etc.. and a few details in the inside framing.
