  1. Pretty cool.
  2. Nice re-animation of a great build! Now finish that sucker!
  3. DANG! That's seriously sweet. Love that weathering... Respect.
  4. That is seriously sweet... Cant wait to see this next to a 32nd scale lanc...
  5. Nice one Ralph! That surface detail sure looks a lot like the new Fly kit!
  6. Are you starting a flame war here?
  7. Cheers guys! Here's the only real fix that needs to be performed on this kit. The area behind the gondola. It's rounded, but should be flattened and merge with the flat window behind the gondola. Member Florin pointed me to a good tip on this fix: add some plastic card to the inside of the fuselage where you will do your sanding, since you WILL go through otherwise.
  8. This looks GREAT! Where did you buy yours?
  9. You're definitely taking the high road by keeping those bomb doors open. I can imagine it being difficult to keep the strips perfectly straight...
  10. Good question! Havent seen them on wartime pics either... I'll have a look out for them too.
  11. Lovely Stuff! What a sweet little plane. One of the few interbelluw / early war luftwaffe subjects that tempts me. Along with the He51.
  12. It sucks and i know the feeling. I've binned some pretty 100 euro + kits in the past. Hope you'll be happy with the result in the end!!
  13. Dang! Haven't touched the Hawk myself. Have however seen finely built examples of them. The He111 I'm building now is fighting me with weird fit issues, missing locating tabs here and there and downright strange engineering. So: Can you fix it? Or is she a lost cause?
  14. Looks great! And yes i agree: painting the markings is often easier than getting a decal on properly...
  15. And the wings are on! I want to wait with riveting until I have gotten rid of all the seams and smoothened the fucker out. I learned this from my Ju88 build....
  16. Cool... Really curious to see how you'll tackle the windows!
  17. Super cool! That is one Tempting Tempest!
  18. And then i discovered that i had detailed Kagero drawings showing rivet locations! Scale 48 but detailed enough for 32nd scale.
  19. Slowly but surely things are taking shapes. Made some plastic card shims to close some minor gaps on the rear cowling parts. The oil coolers are on. Don't try to blend them in, since a small step is supposed to be there. I expected the cowlings to give me a bigger fight. Also putting together the bomb racks. No Eduard here, since I'm keeping the windows in this section closed.
  20. Thats one pretty big 3d printer! When people say 3d printing is kinda taking the easy route I can tell them wrong. In many cases it's easier to make something form plastic card! Love what you're doing here.
  21. like? Love it! Great replication of that profile. Lovely!!!
  22. interesting progress... Do you shop at De Houtloods? by any chance?
